Liberty Thrift Store is a messy and dirty waste of time. Don’t waste your energy.

Everything is so expensive and overpriced I feel like they think they're a Walmart or something also the staff is very rude went to the counter with my purchases and the woman didn't feel like ringing me up and sent me to the other side I was confused because she was standing behind the counter taking care of the person in front of me I doubt I'll be back they can keep their $75 hair dryers and their 8,000 copies of Harry Potter DVDs

Went to this location yesterday for the first time, very organized and clean.Found some interesting things.Prices were eh, fair..At some point I was asked if I was a reseller? lolCome checkout I was overcharged for my purchase by $16. Definitely had items that should've been 50% off.Moral of the story..Shop w/ CAUTION ⚠️

Never quite been spit in the face by a retail establishment like I was at Liberty thrift this past weekend. My quick story -->I found some books in the bins they have outside. I grab a few books out of these bins almost every time I go and they usually charge me 25cents to 1 dollar. I pick a few books including a few comic books I found at the very bottom of the bins that I planned to give to my son. As I approach the register a woman with a headset comes out from the back and grabs *just* the comic books and explains to me she can't sell them to me?... She basically explained, in slightly more words then I am going to type here, that the comic books have a resale value higher than that of the bin in which I found them in and that they need to research the books on the internet and they can "call me when they have a price". You're reading this correctly, a women from the back of the store stopped me from buying something mid purchase because what I was buying had too high of resale value then the bin I had found them in..in a thrift store. After I dug and found these items at the very bottom of one of their bargain bins! A guy in the back of this place sitting on eBay probably buzzed into her headset to not sell me the books. The other books I found in the bin? Sold them to me no questions asked. Moral of the story is this: Liberty Thrift is pricing items roughly 20-30% lower than what you are likely to find for on eBay and running their store like a Boutique rather than a thrift store. You're better off shopping online than here. Sad reality of thrifting these days is most thrift stores do this. I just never expected to be denied purchasing items because they essentially didn't do their research on how much they could over-charge based on internet resale value. Hope the little money you made on those comic books is worth losing a long-time customer. I won't be back. PEACE!

Collegeville store: was able to find a good deal of good buys, unfortunately got there too late to find any good books, as they were picked over from the 5/$1 sale that was going on. Asked the cashier about making an offer on buying a mass of smaller items in bulk, they had me talk to the manager, who not only turned me down but was rather unpleasant about it. Was not even sure it was the manager , since I'm a frequent shopper and had never seen this person there ever. Have never had a problem making a reasonable deal at other thrifts and felt that her dismissive attitude goes against basic customer service, as I donate regularly to the thrifts and support their mission.

This is for the one next to Giant in Q town not the one near the taco stand As a frequent thrift store shopper, and multiple business owner I can say the customer service here is horrible. Both times that I tried to donate items I was met with very poor customer service, first time I was told they didn't want the stuff I was giving them, second time the older gentleman who wears the Vietnam Vet hat would not say hello to me after I said hello to him twice, when I asked him if he wasn't talking today, he said "nope" then turned his back and tried to walk away with the items without even a thank you at which point I stopped and him and took my donations back out of the cart. One of the managers who's name I believe to be Carlton is rude and seems bothered anytime I ever had to deal with him which has been at least 3 times, this other time I bought a stereo which didn't work and when I took it back they made me wait about a 1/2 hr while they tried to prove me wrong and make it work, they failed, meanwhile their sticker said "tested/works" and icing on the cake is the completely OUTLANDISH pricing they have going on. If you are reading this, you are not an eBay seller, you are not an antique store, your are not a boutique, you are a THRIFT STORE and your prices are whack, your service is whack, and your staff is whack. If you don't correct these issues I can't imagine you'll be there very long. 2 thumbs down, negative 5 stars, the worst thrift store around and I visit them all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, you'll only leave disgusted and disappointed.

Place is pathetic. Over priced. Everything is donated and they charge arm and a leg. A lot of electronics sold as is approx $50 over eBay prices and they want you to roll the dice on em. It's really poor management here. I picked up a cup that was .25 cents. It was stacked with 3 other cups that were identical. The three cups priced at .79 cents. So getting three of the same cup was 4 cents more than buying solo. Simple pricing mistake. Instead of admitting the cups were priced wrong she told me she won't sell me anything. I've legit spent thousands here and they treat customer like crap. Not great customer service. Whole business is horrible to get free donations and mark them up to astronomical prices do not shop here

They over-price every item in the store, the customer service is rude and demeaning, and the revenue goes to convicts.
