This is one of the largest food banks in the entire Montgomery county area. All food banks have different requirements & days.***MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR ID*** to prove your identity/address is in montco. They check you in as soon as you park.Hours:Wed 9-11am, Thurs 6-8pm, Sat 9-11am.You are limited to only *ONCE A MONTH*Other food banks are usually more often & offer less. They will honestly full your entire front seat, back seat, & trunk. Usually it's a majority of food offered but they do offer limited, sporadic toiletries & other non food items including clothing, pet food, blankets, even appliances if available. If you need something, please ask. Worst case scenario they don't have it to give away. Best case scenario, the more people request something that there's a high need for, it may help making said item more easily available. Who knows, it's worth a shot! The volunteers are some of the nicest, least judgemental, empathetic, wonderful, supportive people you'll ever meet. It seems like a lot of nonprofit organization/food banks treat their clients like poop on the bottom of their shoe... sometimes its like being less than human, sprinkled with embarassment & bruised ego. Not this place! There's a sense of understanding & respect. If you or someone you know is in need, I highly recommend this food bank. They even load your car for you - seriously - they go above & beyond. Also, they do their best to take into consideration food allergies, food restrictions, food requests. Food is donated to the food bank to be redistributed to those in need, so sometimes food is close to or beyond expiring. Learn to food prep & freeze accurately & let us be gracious & humble about the experience. Keep in mind, this is a FREE food Bank and we all need to show appreciation towards what we get ❤️☺️

They came around first to sign is up, check on our needs, offered food and drink.(no plain water or no-cal drinks) Comments are: I mentioned our food preferences (keto eg meat, no bread, yes root veggies, but i still received a bunch of stuff-frozen fried chicken, no ingredients or instructions, frozen chicken pot pie, ditto and some other stuff we can't use such as canned corn, Campbell's dried chicken noodle soup or condensed cream of chicken soup/. I'll use what i can and maybe start volunteering a bit. They were so nice and thoughtful!

I wish they would allow people to volunteer that also receive Food. They give a lot of food!. Make sure you check it not all of it is good. The noodles and rice usually have bugs in them. Sometimes the meat packages are severely damaged and should not be given out. ( I have gotten sick becareful.)The people are great ? They will try to do what they can. They go above and beyond. I love them.

Was blessed with an abundance of food including a variety of meats, fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy products - milk eggs butter & margarine, canned goods, fresh breads & pastries, frozen foods including ice cream, fruit juices & coffee My pets received treats & food. I had my choice of personal products such as toothpaste, mouthwash, razors, body wash or deodorant. The volunteers are pleasant & friendly. The pantry is well organized & the volunteers also pack & load your vehicle quickly & efficiently which is very much appreciated. Thank you Daily Bread Food Pantry of Collegeville, PA!

These people are just the best. They go above and beyond to "cater" to your wants and needs. (I'm not sure how else to word that, I don't want that to have a heir of entitlement!)I.e.: When they go to bag your items up inside, you wait in the car in the parking lot. They bring EVERYTHING out to YOU. They will always ask which fruits, veggies, what kinds of bread and sweets you'd like, along with a very great list of home needs in which you get to choose x amount of items fromeach category such as tp and other paper products, shower products, ect. The people are just so nice, and they have many young ladies and gentlemen who are doing their own volunteer workwhich is ALWAYS a welcome sight to me! I'm only 30, and these kids are like 13-17 ( Don't worry there are PLENTY of adults to run the show so it's not like chaos or anything like that! )
