Review for Basement Waterproofing Specialists Inc. (BWS) by a very satisfied customer.
I am a University Professor Emeritus and a Senior Citizen. I am very pleased to write this recommendation for BWS.
Anthony Gaetano, Senior Inspector of BWS, gave me a very fair price with a senior citizen discount for waterproofing my basement, which included quality equipment/materials and expert labor. He was friendly and explained the work in detail and answered all of my questions. Steve from their customer service department was courteous and meticulous in coordinating and following up with Anthony regarding the status of the contract. The office manager Abbie and the service manager Riley were customer oriented and efficiently followed up on the appointments of their crews for the undertaking.
Tom, the Foreman, brought literally an army of crew with him for the project; they did an outstanding job as a team in just a few hours; and cleaned up after the work. Talk about efficiency and coordination! All in all, based on my pleasant experience, BWS is a very reliable company. Additionally, the contract guarantees the workmanship and materials for any water problem of my basement for the life of the structure. If there is any issue in the future, you’ll hear from me; watch this space! I recommend Basement Waterproofing Specialists Inc. very highly.

I kept a 2019 clipper magazine advisement about Basement Waterproofing Specialists, Inc. I maintained the advertisement because of the impressive awards the company earned over the years. Also, I followed my gut reaction since 2019 that this is an ethical company. In June 2024, the project was completed. It was later than planned because I broke my foot in early April 2024. My gut reaction is always correct. They were accommodating by postponing the project. The attention to detail with the drawings was impressive with outstanding communication skills. The office staff were always had the knowledge to answer my questions to my satisfaction. The crew had a tremendous work ethic. To my surprise, these awesome dudes completed my basement in just 1day. The quality is top notch. I highly recommend to use this company. To me their work is an added investment to my home. Basement Waterproofing Specialists, Inc. is a company that I want to continue to be in business. Please write down their name. Like, I did cut out any of their advertisement and keep it. You will never be disappointed with any component of this organization. I am a very satisfied customer.

Great customer service every time I called. They came on time and did amazing work installing a French drain and underground piping from our drains.
They were conscientious about our property and cleaned up after themselves. Our property was left spotless.

Al, Christian, and Frankie did an awesome job on a follow-up from great work their co-workers did several years ago. Recent rains had exposed a new wrinkle to our wall issue. Frankie took most of a day diagnosing the issue on a dry day to replicate it. Al designed a new solution that went over and above to resolve the problem.
Note: they’re in demand, precisely because they know what they’re doing and they do great work.
If you have a foundation issue, water leaking in, etc., this is THE company to call. Friendly, effective, efficient, reliable, and professional. They guarantee their work and they are good to their word. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Y’all are so very much appreciated.

Got 2 new tubs and pumps in the basement. They had to rework the piping outside so it wouldn't leak. The pumps were tested and the system seems to be working like it should. Thank you crew for your hard work and also thanks to Chris for setting up the piping ouside.

Can't say enough about this company (Basement Waterproofing Specialists - BWS). They were excellent professionals. Their salesman, Dane Richards, came over to provide a quote and their price was the lowest after receiving 3 quotes. Dane is very knowledgeable and shared his views on how they install an exterior drainage system running from the sides of the house out to the street curb with pop-up emitters. It was a 70 foot run on each side of the house from the downspouts to the curb with a pop-up emitter on each side. One side also included the sump pump line. This was done with Schedule 40 piping and clean out systems at the bottom of each downspout. The job was done in one day. I had to make a request to change the elbows on each side of the curb as they had drilled holes on the bottom side of each elbow in order to release and drain any remaining water left in the piping. However, due to the fact that the soil is mostly clay/sand on my property, the water would just stand there by the curb and not drain into the street. Therefore I contacted the BWS Service Dept. and asked them to replace the elbows without any drilled holes on each side of the pop-up emitters in order for the system to completely drain the water left in the pipes. Justin and RIley from the Service Dept. were excellent in providing their technician (Chris) to change out the elbows and reconnected them with the pop-up emitters. This worked and now the drainage system removes all standing water from the property out to the curb and into the street. Very efficient system. I highly recommend this company.

I am so glad we chose BWS to waterproof our basement. We bought our house 10+ years ago and began to have serious mold/foundation issues.
Mike came out to do an estimate for us and quickly sold us on having BWS perform the work we needed. We no longer have water in our basement thanks to them!
We are so happy with the work BWS did and couldn’t recommend a better company. We were able to finance the cost and are so happy to no longer have to deal with the serious issues we had. BWS safely removed all the mold and water logged junk in the basement for us through the basement windows and treated the entire basement for mold. These guys are top notch!!! And not to mention worked so hard during a very bad storm. Highly recommend. Thank you!!

We had an amazing experience with BWS -- not something you can always say when it comes to contractors! Aaron spent a lot of time with us, reviewing what he found in our basement, answering all of our questions, and was extremely helpful (including encouraging us to talk with other companies -- confident that we would return). After researching a few companies, we found their process and product to be superior and without taking any shortcuts. Aaron's crew, headed up by Doug, exceeded our expectations! They had estimated the job would take two days -- and they completed in only one. The crew worked together -- efficiently and pleasantly -- like a well-honed team. They left everything clean and in great shape -- taking great care to cover up and protect furnishings. The new sump pump is so quiet -- you can't even tell it's running. We feel confident that we have installed a waterproofing system that will protect our finished basement for life and greatly appreciate the professionalism of all involved. Aaron continues to be available to answer follow-up questions flooring contractors have posed as we now enter the phase of replacing flooring. We feel we have a trustworthy partner in solving our basement problem and restoring it back for our family's use. I can't say enough about how great our experience was from beginning to end.

After dealing with water in the basement, BWS installed an interior french drain. Great team to work with, very professional and clean-up was excellent. Had a minor water issue after, but they came the next day to address. Happy to report that after several rain events the basement is dry!!

A job well done. We had water in cellar every time it rained hard (5+ inches of flooding during those catastrophic rain “events.”)BW installed their drain system and new pump. So far so good. Crew was efficient and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. I only wish we had done it sooner and saved ourselves years of stress.
