Ray is great. Was able to fix my grandfather's radio without any issues. Very hard to find someone that is able to work on very old radio's.

cranky sort who won't answer the phone. told me to drop off Saturday, didn't answer the phone, I'm coming from Philly an hour away and now hangs up every time I call. We never had a disagreeable conversation. all the reviews say honest man I guess just not for me. just a fellow with an old radio needs fixing. Hey ray what the hell? if you didn't want to work on my radio you could have told me instead of allowing me to drive to cockranville. That's not honest and not a man.

Ray took my Zenith Aviatrix 767 from the 1930’s, the ugliest radio cabinet ever- a warped faded thing, and turned it into a jaw dropping show piece. I can’t believe he was able to fix it, and the cabinet looks brand new. I am so thrilled that my great grandparents radio was given new life. It’s remarkable. Absolutely stunning.

I have a 1958 Magnatone amplifier that developed a loud squeal, making it unusable. I found Ray online and called him since he is only a few miles away. When I explained that I didn't have a radio, but rather a 61 year old guitar amp, he said bring it in, if it has tubes, he can work on it. He not only fixed, it, he made it better sounding than any time that I have owned it for the past 20 years. He really does a thorough job, not only re-capping, but also cleaning and lubricated all of the pots so that they feel like new. He even cleaned and re-glued the loose and frayed ends of the covering, making the amp look better than I had ever seen it. He also showed me things about the amp I had never known, and all for a very good price! Ray is very interesting, very knowledgeable, takes pride in his work, and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend his services.

Connector on my tv’s circuit board needed to be repaired and found Ray via Google. Since I live nearby I drove over and asked if he could help.

I had a problem with a connector on a TV circuit board. Found Ray and thought I'd ask his help. He agreed to try and succeeded! An honest man who will go out of his way to help others.
