So I didn’t have the most pleasant experience at first either. However, after waiting and sitting in my car, someone came out to help a person with food. I approached the guy running the place, Captain Davi, and found out that this location since Covid, is largely understaffed. It’s also not the main West Chester site, which I had made a mistake on. They do as much as they can, but they need help!! Anyone looking for a job, they need a front desk person. After finding out what’s going on behind the doors, it eased the anxiety and helped me be more empathetic. Have some patience and try to talk to Captain Davi. They do all they can.

Leave your number and they'll call you to let know if they can help.....nope! Left my number with a hispanic woman and she was suppose to give my info to whoever and never gotten a phone call back with the help I need! No wonder here and there I only go there to get food!

After I delivered a donation of over 200 coats collected during a community drive, I was toured through the facility. This location of the Salvation Army provides so many services to the Coatesville area.

Great- I try to volunteer there for their weekly food bank and have been doing so for quite some time. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly- the volunteers are a family of sorts.

Great place, with a monthly luncheon for those in need, and a host of other services. Helpful, friendly, and mission driven staff members are ready to be of assistance.

The Salvation Army is a tireless group of people who donate their time and resources to helping everybody. We at Sadsbury Self Storage have had a local relationship with them for some time. Any donation to their cause is greatly appreciated, whether it be time, money, clothes or food. The next time you hear their bell, let it open up your mind for others.
