We had a beautiful hike from the parking area down towards the creek. It was spacious and beautiful and not too long for a hot day. We were there during an event where there was beer for sale and a cornhole setup. Fun day.

We need to go back… walked 3 miles around a corn field (can’t remember the trail color) but there were several trails to choose from. Beautiful day and some inclined walking but not great nature preserve sites. Lookforward to going back to walk another trail.

Very nice place to walk. Large field with path around and through the middle. A hill in the back which we didn't go up. A small graveyard with unmarked Graves. One trail goes along the creek.

This part of the Natural Lands Preserve has an information kiosk with a map of the entire Preserve. I was shocked when I opened it and discovered the enormity of the Preserve. It, as well as the others, are well maintained. *Thank You to the Employees & Volunteers* Lots of Birds & Bees in the Flowers & Trees. And even a huge Turtle in the pond just off to the right by the parking area. No horses or bikes crossed my path so, they may not have been permitted on this part of the trail.

The hiking trails were great and maintained well. Some of the blazers are worn and the color is faded, so be careful when you come to an intersection. Some parking lots near the creek will get full, so make other parking adjustments. All in all, I really enjoyed this area and plan on hiking the other trails.

Visited today to explore. Beautiful, wide open, park with miles of trails.
A lot of the trail we saw was through farmland but there are some wooded ones.
Trails are very well maintained.
We saw a few people but for for 90% of our hike we were alone. So a great place to get away from it all or socially distant.
This is an amazing free park, great for kids and families, great for hikers and all nature lovers.
As of 3/26/21 Restrooms and buildings were not open when we were there. And the park is closed on Thursday. . There’s a shopping center with a Walmart and fast food places about 4 miles away, so there are amenities not too terribly far away.
It’s very near Longwwod Gardens, so if you’re visiting the area it offers a different kind of more natural outdoor experience as something else to add to the itinerary.
It’s part of a group of other parks called Natural Lands, some of which are pretty near to Cheslen.

This is an awesome place with a beautiful landscape and is great for hiking, walking and jogging. All the hiking trails are too bright and sunny. Generally there is no shades on trails, I went in summer, it was too hot so make sure to carry some water. Here it’s full of vegetation (corn ?)and meadows which is super cool ?. I don’t think there is any security system here, but, a scenic place for a weekend hike.We had a great time being here.❤️*There is no FEE, also not much parking space.MUST HAVE:* A cap?, usually it is super sunny?, no shade on trails.* Use hiking shoes ?* Carry water bottleEnjoy your day!

I went for a hike today with my mom and my dog(Snoop). Although we thoroughly enjoyed our hike, we have found 6 ticks among the three of us so far. So if you decide to go here just please check yourselves and furry friends after!
