“The staff at this site was exception both at pick-up and drop-off. I accidentally left my laptop bag in the truck (with my laptop in it) when I returned the truck. They quickly found it - contacted me (I hadn't realized that I had left it in the truck). They secured it in the office for me and we're so great when I got back to retrieve it. They were also kindly worried about a cup that I had left on the curve while doing my online check in. Another driver had jumped the curve and hit it. Fortunately the cup was fine.
I rent trucks frequently for work events. I have used a dealer much closer to my home typically. However, your staff was so amazing that I am going to use the Chester location from now on. It is close to my work storage unit, but your staff are what won my business.
Also, the trucks are always clean and the site feels safe and secure.
Phil was amazing at both drop off and pick up. So good to contact me and keep my laptop bag safe.
I believe it was Tina who gave it to me when I went back to pick it up.

“I would give 10 stars if I could! Lay, the young lady who assisted me provided amazing customer service. She was so kind in helping me to figure out solutions for safely packing my belongings. She went out of her way to help again and again. She fixed a truck rental reservation issue that I had. And throughout my lenghty visit to the store aquiring moving supplies of all sorts, she continuously demonstrated absolute professionalism. Even when a demanding and rude couple repeatedly interrupted her while she was helping another customer. While they were being unkind to her, she maintained a positive and professional attitude and was courteous to them despite their appalling behavior. I absolutely recommend this location and commend Lay specifically for exemplary customer service going above and beyond the call of duty. After my completely useless experience at a different uhaul location the previous day, her kindness, helpful attitude, and courtesy were a true blessing.”

“As always, rental experience five star overall. That being said, I have never encountered a Penske staff member that ignored me like Brett on first shift did. I'm not trying to be Petty or anything, but I attempted to be courteous multiple times to the gentleman and he ignored me blatantly and repeatedly. Other than that five star as always....EDIT: It is now late in the day of my original post; in recognition of Management's response (and also time having cooled me on the encounter), I will change my review to five stars. Because Penske, overall, IS consistently five star in my experience. Thank you all for your time. Good day....”

“My whole experience with Penske was great. Staff called me a few days and let me know they wouldn't have a van there at that time. He said I could pick it up further away or he could have someone drive it over to the original pickup location. I suggested the lather and told him I'm getting a ride there so I'll get there about 630am. He felt bad I'd have to wait until 9am so he had a staff member drive it over first thing at 7am. I was omw to haul our stuff at about 745am - 8am. New cargo van too. Only had 172 mi on it. Backup camera is awesome. My drop off location also have 24 hour key drop off. LOVED! I dropped it off that same night with tank full. They will charge you $8/gal if you make them do it lolI would for sure rent from Penske again and refer them as well!”
“Avis on Arch street in Phila is the friendliness & most supportive car rental agency I have ever worked with. Once I lost my keys & two of their agents went out of their way to help me find my car keys. They looked in the parking garage, all over the car & finally they found them for me. “I recently visited the U-Haul location in Philly to rent a dolly, and I cannot say enough good things about the exceptional service I received from Nick and Raequan. They went above and beyond to help me out. Despite not having any dollies available for rent, they generously offered to lend me their personal one to ensure my move went smoothly. Their kindness and willingness to help were truly remarkable.
Nick and Raequan were super helpful, friendly, and kind throughout the entire process. They answered all my questions and looked for the best options to assist me. Although I returned my U-Haul rental at a different location, I honestly wished it had been at this one because of the outstanding service I received.
This was my first time in Philly, and thanks to Nick and Raequan, I felt warmly welcomed to the area. If you ever need U-Haul services in Philly, I highly recommend this location. Nick and Raequan are the best!”
