Do not go here unless you’re fully aware that something is amiss in their process. I’ve been natural since 2019. I finally had my natural hair exactly where I wanted it in terms of curl, length and hydration. I needed an emergency blow out because my usual hairdresser had a funeral that she had to cancel on me for. I went there not knowing that some stores put relaxer in their stuff. I wasn’t aware of this until after I went and started telling people how in awe I was that my hair hadn’t start reverting after 2ish weeks like it usually did with a blow dry. I went to wash my hair and it was a mess. All my curls are destroyed, my hair is falling out at a rapid rate. My hair has this weird gray tint now that no level of oil, deep conditioning, or protein treatments has been able to fix. My hair is this weird crunchy texture that I’ve never had since my curls are usually silky. My hair has this weird odor that isn’t leaving even though I’ve washed my hair multiple times and even put a bunch of smell goods in it. I’m trying not to break down because ‘it’s just hair’ but the fact that they do this without telling you is scary. This seems illegal. I don’t know how they’re able to do this and stay open.

The best Dominican style salon in the area. Friendly staff and reasonable prices! The offer a variety of services to both men and women. Anny the owner is the sweetest! After about 5 years of being a natural I’m having to cut my hair because they chemically straightened my hair. They are mixing something into their shampoo or conditioner. A week or two after my last visit I decided to do an oil treatment before washing my hair and minutes after applying it I noticed a rotten/chemical smell similar to that of a relaxer. I immediately went to wash my hair and my hair was falling out in clumps and I could immediately tell the difference in my hair from what was chemically treated vs new growth. Use your own discretion if you are natural or care about the state of your hair if you are going to patronize this business.

Best salon I have ever been to, great customer and they do hair great , i recommend getting your hair done by Anny because she does your hair really good and dyes your hair really good, and she also does flat quick weaves but the other workers do your hair really good too !
