Great experience. I don't smoke but I was with a friend and we listened to music and had a few drinks since its byob. Atmosphere was nice. They even have hookah on some nights. I have to go back for a Whiskey Saturday, I heard it's a good time. I would recommend this Cigar lounge to everyone.

I have been a member of LIU for 1.5 years and I have to voice my distaste and disappointment in the things that have been happening within the business. 1st I have to voice my anger over how much the lounge is closed during their scheduled open hours. Last week alone the lounge was closed 3 days. Granted Christmas was Saturday but they also closedSunday Monday and because the partners do not get along and will not work for each other on their given days. This is an ongoing issues over the past year or more.2. One of the owners Lawrence Russell put out a new tier plan membership fee for 2022 that makes no sense and apparently none of the other partners were aware of the changes. They are taking away the basic amenities such as a cubby to store your cigars and liquor, no more monthly free cigar (instead now they “REQUIRE MEMBERS” to buy a cigar each time they come to the lounge. Instead now they are asking you to pay more than double to keep perks that were promised to us when we initially became members such as….24hr Access never delivered and still not on the horizon. Lockers for members (that we now have to pay $100 for that was initially promised for my $45 monthly membership fee.So now if I want to remain a member I still have to pay my $45 per month, but I no longer get a cubby or a box or a free cigar once a month. Now I cannot keep any cigars there, nor liquor and each time I come I MUST purchase a cigar or I cannot sit in a lounge that I pay $45 monthly to patronize. Call me crazy but seems to me like I get nothing for my $45 monthly membership but 10% off cigars…..I feel like as a patron member of this establishment am being pushed out by management. I love to support black owned business, but if this is how they treat their patron members I can no longer support or promote the black owned cigar lounge. I hope that the owners will quickly rectify this situation so that I can come back and post a more positive update.

I've driven past this establishment many times with no knowledge of Light It Up. I was invited by a friend and, the experience of sitting in a Black-Owned cigar Lounge (that's right!), conversing with Folks who look like me, puffing on tasty cigars, was a wonderful experience. I felt like I elevated my game - Lol! Great cigars, phenomenal atmosphere and, even better company! A Grown Folk experience, indeed!

I went there last week first time. Owner and customers very friendly. Met some frat brothers for the first time and had a great time. Very comfortable atmosphere. The hand rolled cigar was an unexpected treat. Definitely will be back.

This is a great place for cigar and non cigar smokers to relax, unwind, socialize and network. With more of a mature and established crowd I am able to relax and enjoy the finer tobacco amongst those who share the same interest. Always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I'm on my way there now!

My wife and I were looking for a place to relax while also trying cigars for the first time. This place was excellent, it has a great atmosphere, and the owner, Larry, walked us through the selection process and was very knowledgeable.Best part is that it's Black Owned
