  Bought a car here a little over a year ago and wow. It is a 20 year old car with super low mileage and obviously there’s going to be some problems with every car but not to the extent I was expecting. Do not trust this place, the amount of repairs I’ve had to do is ridiculous and thousands of dollars wasted. Make sure you have your own mechanic and do not trust their “mechanic”. They are obviously trying to sell a car. They talked me out of buying the warranty!!!! Because “you won’t need it”. One of the compartment doors inside the car was help closed with a command strip. Beware. I’ve heard way more bad stories about this place

  Bought a used suv, was told it was a really good vehicle. I wish I would have had it checked by my own mechanic, not theirs. A couple of months in...thousands of $$ fixing major issues. And in meeting others in the area, they share similar stories from Automax. I bought a $10k+ and one thing after another fails, some that shouldnt have passed the new inspection. When I complained, I was reminded it was sold "as-is." Update: as of Aug. 2023, it was no longer putting money into what the owner said was a "really good vehicle" ...word around town these are auction cars bought cheap & flipped.
