I went there with my daughter and the guy with a beard and a black pickup said some inappropriate things to her. I realize that this is Claysburg and proper manners aren't really observed here but when you get in a disabled girls face and threaten her father....that's kind of f***** up.

Carpet Depot Home Center is a true gem. During our process of purchasing padding and carpet we experienced a personal touch, helpfulness, and knowledge from the owner’s that made our decisions easy. The carpet they carry is high quality. They came to our house for accurate measurements. The padding and carpet layers were very experienced and did a phenomenal job. Their creativity, persistence, and assistance helped us resolve a surprise obstacle that was not known to them nor us. We really appreciated the owners and carpet layers kindness in helping us. We are so pleased with our new carpet flooring. It is beautiful! Would highly recommend Carpet Depot to everyone.

Friendly, knowledge staff.Love Chris and his dad. They go above and beyond--every time. We had someone break into our garage and poor gasoline everywhere and Bim, Jr. knew exactly what I needed to clean up that mess.They have also been super supportive and helpful to the other small businesses in the area.As for the negative review about the surcharge for credit cards...it is clearly posted by the register there is a charge. It makes sense. Processing fees can sink a small business.I always use cash when I go, as a courtesy and doing my part to keep this small business alive!

I went here to support a local business. I was given a total price and, after leaving, noticed my receipt had an extra service charge for using a card. I was not given this information while checking out. Due to this deceptive practice, I will only be a one time customer at this establishment. Hope that charge was worth it.

The family was helpful during the buying process. The installers were another case. They removed a piece of molding during installation and we’re going to leave without reattaching . Then used nails that were too short and didn’t hold the molding tight enough. Paint on the wall was damaged when they removed molding. We had to repair the scuffed area ourselves. The doors they removed had dirty handprints on them and we had to clean them. They cut two areas of carpet short of the molding. You can stick your finger into the area. After the carpet was installed they put furniture back without vacuuming leaving carpet fibers under the furniture and all over the floors.

Very nice store, The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I am a flooring installer and I highly recommend my customers to buy from them. They have the same products the other stores have and better prices. All my customers have been very satisfied with their products and services and that makes my job easier.
