881 Old State Rd, Clarks Summit5/5 stars every time for Tony, his services, and his pooches. I've been going to Tony for about 2 years now, and we've only ever had amazing results. Not only do Tony's methods get results, but he will also answer your questions, explain why you're doing something the way you are, and provide peace of mind. I have now worked with Tony for a 10 year old dog and a < 1 year old pup on obedience, dog reactivity - both fear-based and overly friendly - and for proper introductions within the home.
As an anxious person, I feel much calmer after every session. Obedience was incredibly fun and built a great bond between my dogs and I. Introducing the puppy, which I thought would be an wasy task, was NOT. My older dog was a happy boy outside but within the home he would snarl at the new puppy (see attached videos of then and now). Tony helped us get that under control, and the two dogs now love to curl up and sleep next to each other. We're currently seeing Tony after a stray dog attacked to work on the younger dog's fear, and after our first session he went from full-on whimpering to sitting with his back to Bravo - a large German Shepherd. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcomes of working with Tony. I know my dogs are always in good hands when we're there.
Unsure of his methods or training style? I promise I was, too, but after a strong recommendation from my veterinarian and after seeing the results, my dogs always getting happy about their training collars, and Tony always answering questions/explaining things, I now HIGHLY recommend these methods. Reach out and meet with him, you won't regret it!

Hollow Hills/vom hohlen Huegel Shepherds, Clarks SummitI will never get another shepherd from anywhere but here. I spent a year researching the breed, and decided it was time to look for a breeder. I contacted Beth by Facebook, and we started speaking. She was extremely informative, and spoke to me for six months straight answering all my questions, whether silly or not, before I’d even purchased a dog from her. I reached back out when I was officially ready, and she asked me what I was looking for in a dog both physical traits and personality traits, she asked me what holif and we spoke about that for awhile. One of the many things I appreciate about her is that she matches the right dog to your wants/needs. This is not a pet store or puppy mill where you can go pick out whichever one you like at the time. She is thorough and careful about her matches, to be sure her dogs go to the best possible families/ people for both them and the new owner. She ended up having a 1 year old dog she had kept for herself, that matched what I was looking for perfectly. She asked if I would consider an older pup or if having a baby was important to me. It wasn’t, so I drove out to meet her. I got to meet her, her mom, her dad, and saw many of the other dogs she has both young and adult. I was amazed at every single one. I spent about 3 hours with Beth, and she was very informative, kind, helpful, and honest. The dogs she produces are incredible. From personal experience I got a dog that has great confidence, incredibly stable nerves, extremely trainable, very sweet, her temperament is unmatched. She is extremely versatile, she can go from hanging out on the couch with 5 kids to working outside with me, and back with ease. She is gentle and calm when expected of her, and hard working when expected of her. Bonding with her was seamless. As a first time shepherd owner, I make training mistakes all the time. But my dog bounces right back from them, and for that I am extremely thankful. Everywhere she goes she is doted on. Even at the vet, there was a woman attacked by a shepherd 30+ years ago, and hadn’t even pet one since. She felt comfortable enough to approach us and ask to pet Halcy. I have a lot of trust in her so I of course said yes. Halcy seemed to understand her apprehension and allowed her to go very slowly, she was extremely gently and sweet with this woman. Further, her trainer adores her so much. She even asks when she can have her come in and do some demonstrations. I have only had her since June, so 4 months, almost 5. And already she is so bonded to me and my family. She’s already earned her Canine Good Citizen Certificate. She has a clear understanding of how she can and cannot behave with the children as opposed to myself and my husband. I did not have to teach her this, it is her nature. I can take her pretty much anywhere. I am so thankful to Beth, and Halcy was worth every penny paid. She is my dream dog, and I am excited to continue working with her and for our next award. If you are looking for an exceptional dog, with long lines of incredible heritage, you don’t need to look any further than Hollow Hills!
