I have trusted Dr. Nelson with my puppy since I got him. I haven't stopped going to him since (almost 2 years old now). He's been a friendly guy who's always willing to work with me and Milo. He's super kind and I love that he allows me to sit in on his visits with my dog (except during peak covid). I always feel welcomed to call whenever I have a worry about my boy (he has frequent tummy problems). The lady at the front desk who usually answers my calls is super friendly and I love how helpful she is. I'm sad i'll have to be leaving this vet soon because I am moving, but he was a great vet to have over the years i've had him.

I have taken all of my pets to Dr. Towers and then Dr. Nelson for over 50 years. Dr. Nelson and his staff are top notch! The love and care is above anything I have heard others experience elsewhere. Dr. Nelson leaves no stone unturned when it comes to diagnosis and treatment. The fact that we can board our pets while we are away gives me peace of mind. I know they are in the very best care. Even when we had to put our pets to sleep, Dr and staff were so kind and considerate. They truly love what they do and it shows!

I stopped using this vet decades ago after a bad experience with him when I brought a dog in. Subsequently I learned that his own vet techs turned him in for abusing animals in his care. His license was suspended for too short a time. There was a hearing in which awful facts were revealed and I have the transcript of that hearing, somewhere. It's been many years since I was giving it out to people, so not sure I could put my hands on it again. Anyway...I just wanted to give folks a heads up. Possibly he's changed, but I would never take a chance with him again. My animals are just too important to me to risk it.

He murdered my dog. MURDERED, two years ago, and I'm finally speaking up. He overdosed him triple of what he should have been taking with a pill that is no longer used today, and said in the office himself that they no longer use it. Instead of prescribing him ointment for his foot, he gave him a pill that killed him, OVER HIS FOOT! He continued to try to cover his a** damn well knowing that he killed my dog, and still charged us almost four grand after our 7 year old Maltese was killed. Moral of the story is he is an uneducated, lying murderer. He does not deserve a single star, and you have no idea the amount of grief and anger our family has been feeling since.

Doctor had massive attitude refused to help my sick cat! Horrible staff I wouldn't recommend him EVER if you love your animals!
