I absolutely loved this visit, and we look forward to our next visit. From service to hospitality and food, everything was wonderful. The only sad thing is not much to do in the area, but the Inn tries everything to keep you busy.Rooms: Our room was so beautifully decorated

What a fabulous reminder of Southern hospitality and charm, reminisce of the beauty of days gone by. The Inn keeps it special with each room having its own theme, the afternoon tea, the evening cocktail hour (the spiked punch is addictive!), and the morning breakfast in beautifully decorated rooms. The whole house has been named appropriately as it focuses on the many pieces the owners obtained over the years from the movie Gone with the Wind. While the wife decorated the house, the husband got his chance outside, with the beautiful gardens, but also the a massive collection of Remington sculptures throughout the yard. The food at Stonewalls tavern was fabulous. A super cozy atmosphere, but big enough for a family dinner or an intimate dinner for two.

Charming get away. Good food. Nice extra touches such as afternoon tea and champagne punch hour. Restaurant present within inn. No need to leave entire stay with pool table, pool and chess.

This place was so amazing, warm, and inviting. This Inn is based on the Gone with the Wind movie. It houses 3 different places to eat and various rooms to stay in.When we got there we were greeted very warmly and took on a tour to get the layout. Was informed about Tea time, cocktail hour, and breakfast and brunch locations.Every room is inspired by either a character or a quote from the movie, rooms that were not occupied were left with door open to view the beautiful states of the rooms. The food and atmosphere are both amazing as well. Delivering way more than expected.

I am a huge fan of Gone With the Wind. It has been many years since my husband (who I called my Rhett Butler) surprised me with a birthday dinner at Stonewall's Tavern. I immediately fell in love with Tara and that is where we celebrated several anniversaries. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The last room we stayed in was Rhett's room and it was my favorite. My husband passed away almost 15 years ago. I have always wanted to stay one more night at Tara to honor his memory. I have not been able to do that for various reasons but I still keep it on my bucket list. I wish I lived closer so I could fulfill that wish.Rooms: I loved every room we stayed in but my favorite was Rhett's room.Food & drinks: Food was delicious both in the dining room, the Tavern, and at breakfast.Noteworthy details: To see the actual costume that Vivian Leigh wore in the movie was astounding! I never realized how tiny she was.

Did not stay in any rooms went for the brunch on Sunday. It was very good and there was a variety of food to choose from. Not a lot of breakfast items but did offer freshly made Crepes, waffles and omelettes. Very comparable in price with Iron Bridge.

Tara hosted the Shenango Valley Chorale's Madrigal Feast in its Stonewall Tavern. It was a very nice evening in total. But the whole was better than the sum of the parts. The chorale was excellent in spite of pretty terrible acoustics. They were having fun and got the crowd involved to share the good time. The meal featured beef, chicken and fish as well as two sides, soup and dessert. The food was served family style at each table which was fun but awkward at times.Tara the Inn is pretty spectacular. A ton of Gone With the Wing memorabilia is everywhere. But they also have a great collection of Frederick Remington's bronzes. There is lot of stained glass as well. I wouldn't mind staying at the Inn sometime. We had a very nice evening.

After 20 years of a delightful and memorable time, we stopped back to recall how much we enjoyed ourselves here. Surprisingly, they were able to find a table for two to accommodate us in the downstairs Taverne since the main level gourmet dining room has been closed since the Covid-19 debacle.

This place is so cool. All the old history here. The staff was amazing. The food was excellent. The rooms comfortable. Anyone acting woke over this place has no clue about history or life in general.
