This place is great have used them often. The only place that is honest. Several times they have checked my battery and said nothing is wrong with it. It would of been very easy to replace the battery at my expense

We got a battery about a month ago. We have had nothing but issues with it. Rather than driving to Chicora from Butler to have it checked, we stayed in Butler Why? The battery from SD and J left us stranded a few times over the course of a month. We had it checked at a battery dealership in town over the weekend. That dealership discovered that one of the cells was bad. I watched the cell testing being done. One cell did not register, while the others did. When I took the battery back to SD and J, and was told that the battery was fine. They stated that the battery is sealed and can’t be tested and that the battery’s amps were good. After touting their 46 years of expertise, they would not admit that after the battery dealership in Butler fully charged this battery, that the amperage might still be within parameters. Being that I travel with small children, I cannot be stranded with a battery issue. This was our first and last purchase from them.

This guy is super nice. They're aren't alot of companies out there as helpful as they are. Called with a battery number for the atv. Gave me a few options picked one, asked when I wanted to pick it up so he could have it filled and charged. And they have great pricing vs OEM.
