“Best local hardware for finding outdated plumbing parts. They also make custom screens and sharpen handsaws, knives, and scissors. If you can't find it in the store, they will find it in their million part dbase. Largest fastener collection I have ever seen in a hardware store. Outstanding service and a knowable staff.”

“On March 7, 2023, I visited my local Busy Beaver store in Castle Shannon. I should say here that I have never had a bad experience in this store. The representatives have always been helpful, friendly, and professional.On March 7, my cashier was Meegan and she asked if I would need help loading the 4 bags of potting soil I bought on sale. I said, "No, I'd be fine," thanked her and left. When I backed up my car to the stack of potting soil, there was Meegan standing there waving at me. She joked, "I don't listen well" and helped me load the bags in the car. The owner make a quick fix for my current part for a temporary fix while I wait for a new one to come in. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and jump right into problem solving. Thanks to his efforts, last minute, about 30 minutes before his shop closed, I am able to run my business through the weekend. If you want something done right, and done with care. “Have had the plumbing side of the business out to my house twice in the past 3-4 months, off of the recommendation of a friend. Both times they were very responsive and here within a day.First was a clog in a basement drain in Nov 2023. Explained what he was doing every step of the way and very professional.Second time was Feb 2024 for a failing water heater. I’d called after hours the evening I discovered it, and had a call after they were open the next morning. They were out to my house within an hour of returning my call. Again explained what they were doing as they went along, and when I expressed surprise that they were out so quick, is that they make water heater issues a priority.Highly recommend if you are looking for a good plumber in the A-K Valley.”
