“My fiance and I stopped by here this weekend and we had such a great experience. The owner graciously showed us many different pieces of art and talked about the artists behind each. We ended up leaving with 2 different pieces, great price points and variety! We will be back.”

“I was looking for a new set up for my Ryan Fitt tube. Taylor helped me get my marble set up for my quave club charmer & I liked it so much I came back the next day because I forgot to pick up the dab rite pro! I appreciated the quick help and he even reminded me I needed the dunk bin for the charmer! It’s nice being only ten minutes from a reliable glass shop! Tons of American glass and the lay out is really nice and spacious too.”

“Custom Picture Framer of Glenside, is the best from start to finish. Jeremy, and his staff are wonderful. I brought in 3 prints to be framed, Ellie worked with me, and was patient, and was very helpful in helping me find the perfect,Frames.Jeremy did my insulation, of 4 prints, and I could not be any happier with the quality of the framed prints. Jeremy has now helped me to complete my wall. If you have any prints, art work to be framed, Custom Picture Framer is the place to go, excellent customer service, and friendly staff. I will use them for all of my future framing projects.AngelaHappy customer”

“First and foremost they did an excellent job framing a sentimental item—a giant flag. I gave a budget and they worked with me to make sure I got the most bang for my buck. The piece looks perfect and I’m thrilled with their work. The thing that sets them apart is how wonderfully accommodating the team was when we were being somewhat difficult clients. They were incredibly patient with us, and made things as easy as possible for us. Cannot recommend them enough!”

“Corridor is an amazing three floor gallery in the heart of Fishtown, complete with a mix of local artists and rotating exhibitions. I spent about half an hour wandering through the building and really enjoyed the setup and curatorial work. Staff here is super helpful in terms of outlining what you're about to take in, and the gallery itself is free to walk into.Make sure to add this to your Fishtown itinerary! I joined the mailing list to stay up to date on future openings and look forward to being a regular supporter of this community gem.”

“Steve was amazing. This was my first tattoo and he patiently worked with me to figure out what we would do. Then the process itself was quick, straightforward, and didn't hurt at all, almost. Plus the shop is very cool, with lots of great artworks hanging all over.”

“Beautiful frames. Detailed work. Excellent quality materials. The framers here do exceptional work and give wonderful suggestions to help you find the perfect frame. My boyfriend and I got one of his diplomas reframed here when it broke. They did such an excellent job and made it look so much better than the original generic commercial frame it came in. We went back to frame two more diplomas, both which turned out amazing. We will definitely be back!”

“I love this place beyond words! I used to live in Philly and would visit the store in person often. Now that I've been living in Los Angeles for over a decade, I'm grateful I can still shop at Indigo online. Over the last few years I have purchased two of my favorite pieces of art - both Haitian beaded voodoo flags. They are breathtaking. The shop owner, Tony was incredibly helpful in answering my myriad of questions. It's not easy to find crafts from all vast areas around the world, so a shop like this is a true treasure.”

“I've had Jeffrey do custom canvas stretching on 2 large paintings I purchased from recent travels and they turned out wonderfully. The service took just under a week for each, it was easy to communicate with him, and the paintings were easy to hang once I got home. I will return for additional framing needs. Thank you!”

“We have a few nice comic shops in town and you will know within an instant whether this is a comic shop you belong in or not. In our household, this is the shop where my wife famously purchased a nicely bound book of a tremendous amount of lines in different patterns (forever known by our teenaged child as "the book with all the lines"). Look, it's like some of that skronky jazz. If you don't "get" it, you have to assume the people who do are not playing a trick on you.For my part, I have never felt quite at ease in this store. It's got that liminal space feel, like you're walking down an endless hall, thinking about the things you have done. The walls absorb all noise, you can hear the blood rushing in your ears. It will remind you of your friends who talk too much about Chicago and how great it is, but you remember the time you were there in winter and how your beard froze and people seemed so miserable. Weather can kill you in a place like that, I tell you.If you are me, you can go here and get your Jesse Jacobs, your occasional Schuiten, your Decadence Press, your Woodring and Burns and Al Columbia. They carry the great Hollow Press. If you're my wife, you buy the books with lines; look, she's got the artist's eye, she has all the credibility in the world. And if you're the comic book person that has that terribly withering internal critic, the one that poisons you inside, the one I always associate with Comics Journal kooks, this is your place too.I docked a star because it really needs music or something to be playing. In Atomic City there's going to be music, there's going to be an atmosphere, some young guy is going to be too loudly proclaiming his love for the Flash. I'm still charmed by that, I still have years left to live on this earth. At this place, you just know you're going to get Pavement or whatever. Like I said, you'll know in an instant.”

“I don't know why its called Metalworks since there is lots beyond (metal) jewelry. Beautiful ceramics, silk scarves, and other items. Beyond the jewelry its a bit eclectic, but I find it to be a great place when I need a high-quality gift. Very helpful owner. I've purchased the silk scarves, the pottery, and earrings as gifts and they were uniformly a great hit.”

“Talk about a hidden gem. I've visited Philadelphia enough to see the "Second Bank" signs and assumed they referred to a historical bank exhibit or maybe tours of a historical building. It's only after I started looking for other things to do in this area that I realized this is actually a portrait gallery -- and a great one at that! Not only does it provide a rich collection of portraits of the founders and their contemporaries, the surrounding explanatory text does an amazing job of not only giving you a flavor of each historical figure but also teasing out the connections between these famous individuals that are often lost in biographies of each individual man and women featured here. The staff is extraordinarily knowledgable and helpful as well, and my only regret was only budgeting a short amount of time for seeing what turned out to be a wonderful museum near downtown Philadelphia. Highly recommended!”
