“Beautiful venue, just alittle jam packed. Food was delicious. Didn't make much sense that there were cigars being given out and an area to smoke them by the fire pit but was told couldn't smoke cigarettes in this area. But vape pens were OK. Make that make sense when cigars are the smelliest. Pretty rude in my eyes.”

“I recently had my wedding at Ballroom at Ellis Preserve and can't even being to explain how happy I am with our day. From our first tour with Tina, she thoroughly explained every detail and option that Finley had to offer. The day of the wedding was so stress free thanks to Ellis with the staff that they have working to assist you in making your special day easier. From morning to night there was always someone coming to me asking if there is anything that we needed help with. All of our guest's RAVED about the food, many letting us know that it was the nicest wedding that they have attended. Tina, our event coordinator also does in house events. She further exceeded any of our expectations for the centerpieces to the decorations and I set them very high. This was the best night without a doubt & I will forever recommend Finley Catering!!”

From more accessible events like their post-St. Patrick's Day hangover brunch or their Harry Potter tea parties to fancier things like their recent French country dinner with wine pairings, the food is top notch. A great place to try something new, and with their own dedicated parking it couldn't be easier to visit.”
“I recently traveled to the area to attend the breakfast with Santa event. Not only did it run smoothly, but the breakfast was absolutely delicious! So many options to choose from, even my picky eater was satisfied! My personal favorite was the breakfast potatoes (I’ll be dreaming of those for weeks to come).Kathy made sure we didnt miss any of the activities, Brian checked in to see if we needed anything, and Chef Glickman and Colbert went out of their way to check in on how the food was. “I rented the Saturday Club as our wedding venue. Dennice handled the process of our rental perfectly, and when she was unable to give us a tour prior to renting, Lindsey was able to show us around. The building is great, and old as well. We hosted about 60 people at our wedding on a Sunday and it went great! Ruben, the event manager was awesome and even helped me with some quick panic breathing exercises right before the wedding ceremony. Also, for a nice building with a large kitchen for catering, the price was unbeatably low. Very well worth the money!”

“My friend and I went for a walk. Part of the path is under shade and the other part is sunny. Part of the path has some incline, which was a little harder for my friend who was using a cane, but we did like that the path was not all cement but gravel which is easier on her knees. Beautiful area for a picnic and they do have a grill and area to sit plus a community garden to admire. The best thing is it wasn't crowded at all!”

“We stayed at the Desmond for the weekend of our wedding in June 2024, and also included them as a room block for our guests. The Desmond is a great hotel for your wedding weekend if you are having your wedding in the surrounding area. It is close to multiple shopping centers, restaurants, and other activities for your guests. It also has a great lobby, bar, and terrace setup for welcome drinks, after parties, and wedding brunches. The staff and management was great about communicating throughout the entire process and many of our guests complimented the property. We would recommend the Desmond for your wedding weekend.”

“I did Book of Secrets theme with a friend. The room master(s) might've had to navigate multiple rooms at once. Priced about right for what you get. The flow of the room was mostly good and staff very friendly. There was a red button that my friend and I misunderstood to be the exit room button versus a button that could be used in the room itself.”

“I haven't seen smoking bars since pre COVID but walking into this place for the first time to see a metal show and seeing I could have a drink and smoke a cigarette while watching the Phil's between bands was one of my highlights of this past year. Long live the Polish club ??????”

“We sat on the deck so we could look at the beautiful scenery and watch the golfers try to hit the green. We’ve had the same waitress three times now and she has been great every time. All of our food was delicious including the filets which were cooked to perfection! This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is close and the walkway to both the restaurant and the deck are easy to maneuver.”
