Had to surrender 2 dogs under tough circumstances that I was extremely worried about them not taking. One of the dogs was 14 and the other was 7 but had a history of not being great around other dogs. The staff was extremely nice, understanding and sympathetic to my situation. It’s a huge farm like area with tons of space. I can’t say it enough that the staff was amazing especially Stacy.

Amazing staff and beautiful campus! The whole adoption process went very smoothly - the staff was so kind and helpful all throughout, and was extremely responsive, even after hours. We absolutely love our new puppy, and are very thankful for MLAR.

I got a kitten from here for $187 and I really didn’t like how they didn’t give me medicine for my kitten since they know he was exposed to Feline Virus and my kitten was suffering I had to pay extra $230 to take care of the little animal because they didn’t care to give me medicine for him. They told me to pick up medicine after 4 days. While I was trying to reach them constantly playing phone tag. Also they don’t have records for the kittens having leukemia or aids so be careful when you are getting an animal because if they have those diseases your wasting your money and your time as well. Especially if your a first time pet owner do some research especially before you buy anything from this place.

One of the best experiences of my life. I've never seen a facility run as well as this one, simply amazing job these folks do. My yearly charitable donations are going to Main Line Animal Rescue for the care they give these dogs/cats is truly astounding.

Upon arrival you are forced to sit/ stand outside Fill out a paper application then a volunteer advises you to search on the website to pick out The animals you are interested in seeing. The listing for the animal has no major details house broken good with kids good with other animalsExtremely skittish receive none of that information until a staff member reviews your list comes out and talks to youBecause you're not allowed inside the buildings at allThey claim it's a safety hazard and not designed for public access. Stopped at 3 different facilities this facility was not worth the weight or time in 90° weather just to find out all their animals are not suitable for family with children Very dissatisfied they should provide tablets to search the animals and get with the new century I hope when the ASPCA fully takes them over they improve their facility and adoption means As well as viewing the animals.

Beautiful facility, very helpful dedicated staff. Adopted a kitten from them. They gave recommendations for a better fit and are checking on well being of an adopted animal, which shows their dedication and love for animals. Thank you so much for your hard work!

I honestly would love to adopt Banks, the "velvet hippo" but I can't afford the adoption fee and although I am federally permitted to have a dog in my residence, my living situation regarding my residence is going to be changing very drastically for at least myself by the end of the year when my father, the landlord, has told me that he would be having the property up for sale. I live on a fixed income currently and for the past decade or more. This decision ultimately makes the 3 current tennants virtually or ultimately homeless. Our ages range from the 70's-20's. 2 of the 3 have serious chronic and potentially life threatening health issues making the whole thing that much worse. As well as the fact that we are all single and have no significant other in our lives either. Please pray for all of us, wish us luck, whatever you do and are able to do for us, please, please do that. ???

This is one of the best rescues in the area. They take such amazing care of the pets while finding the perfect homes. A great place to volunteer as well.

Our experience with MLAR was outstanding! Having just lost our last dog of many years, we approached the process not being sure we were ready. We first found Dex on the website and reached out with questions. Matt responded quickly and repeatedly to every question and shared some video of Dex playing. Matt was upfront about a few behaviors, but felt with some training and patience, those could be worked out.We went through the application process and set up a time to meet Dex. We did have some concerns because he is a little over 2 years old, was on the street for a while and had been in a couple of different homes, so we thought there may be some issues.Tricia took us to meet Dex and we had a chance to spend a lot of time with him in a large fenced in area. That was all it took to know he was the one! We completed the process, were given his complete medical records, food and the toys he'd been attached to to make the transition easier. We cannot say enough good things about the experience, the staff, volunteers and all who make this place go. It is truly amazing to see how they are able to help so many animals. It's been about 6 weeks and we can't imagine life without Dex! He is the sweetest boy and we are so glad to welcome him into our family and his forever home!

Thank you Mainline Rescue. We got a precious 9-10 year old Shih. mix from you on July 1st,2022. Over many years, we've had several dogs, but our precious rescue dog that we adopted from Mainline Rescue, in Chester Springs PA is by far the best dog we've ever had. We love him so much. He settled in to our home with no problem. It's like he knew from day 1, this is forever home.
