Finding a great company, you can trust to do the job right isn't always easy. If you are like me good reviews play a big part in the decision. I am posting this review to hopefully help some folks out in their search. This company has performed at a 5-star level for us time and time again.
We have used Stanaitis for many years and for many different size jobs. Annual lawn fertilizing and seeding, stone garden beds, new trees and decorative shrubs, small tree removal, stump grinding, and some other small general projects. Most recently we had a large paver (Cambridge) patio installed. My wife and I could not be any happier with the workmanship of the entire team, quality of the product, and coordination/ communication during the installation process. I don't want to go on and on here so I will close with this.... choose this company and you will not be disappointed.

We had been having an issue with storm water getting into our basement. Stanaitis came out and gave us multiple options to help correct the situation. Price was very reasonable for the option we chose and the completed the work promptly and professionally. We would definitely recommend Stanaitis Landscaping and would use them in the future.

I offer only high praise for Stanaitis Landscaping and Construction LLC. After any moderate rainfall, I had a major problem with water pooling on the side of my house, in the driveway. Literally, a small pond would form. John came out to survey the problem. He came up with a plan that involved digging a trench and installing a catch basin and a French drain that would run the rainwater through my side yard, adjacent to my driveway. He gave me the estimate, which was very fair, and came out and completed the job when promised. From the day the job was completed, we have had zero rainwater accumulation. I cannot say enough how happy we are with John’s work. Five stars all around. Highly recommended!!!

We were having a serious problem with runoff in our yard. I interviewed four companies and John’s plan was by far the best, most comprehensive plan. I had a bid the following morning that was fair and made complete sense. John and his crew did an amazing job. His crew worked so hard and were so professional. I can’t say enough about what an awesome experience this was.

Stanaitis Landscaping and Construction LLC had great communication with us. We were in the process of closing on a new house and having a baby very close together. John was understanding and was willing to work with our needs during that time. His crew worked hard and in a timely manner. If there was ever a problem, John made sure to let us know we could reach out to him. We are happy with the cementing that the Stanaitis brothers did for us! We would recommend this company to friends in need of any general construction or landscaping needs!

John came out promptly to help us review a water drainage issue in our yard that was resulting in water seeping into our basement. We discussed multiple options and he recommended some easy and affordable solutions. He and his team communicated clearly to us though out the process and time till the job was completed. The work was done quickly, and neatly (no mess on driveway, all plants replanted and yard looking great.)
John and crew also regraded our front yard and helped remove remaining stump from a tree we took down two years ago. The yard looks great and the stormwater management has been done well. We appreciate all John and team did and look forward to working with them again in the future.

These guys were called, along with a bunch of others, to address water seeping into my detached garage and window well for a basement window that would fill up with water. I had my own theories and most companies gave me quotes to do what I wanted, unsure if it would fix it or not, but these guys are the experts and came up with their own plan. And their plan made sense to me. They were quick, professional and reasonably priced. I recommend these guys for any outside water issues because for a job that seemed daunting for others, it was just another day for the.

Strongly recommend Stanaitis for a job well done in a timely manner. From initial consultation to the completion of the project, John and his team demonstrated professionalism, expertise and dedication in solving our backyard water drainage issues. John was always pleasant, responsive, and we got the impression that he genuinely cared about our project and understood our investment.
We had struggled for years with water building up during heavy rainstorms and seeping into our house from the backyard. Upon assessing our property, John was able to come up with a solution, which included proper regrading and the installation of strategically placed drainage elements. Since completion of the project, we've had a few snowfalls and heavy rainy weeks, and we haven't seen water coming close to the backdoor or in the house, a huge relief for our family.
In addition to addressing our drainage issues, we asked John and his team to install a patio for us. The end-result is an aesthetically pleasing, functional patio that we look forward to using this upcoming season. When some of the stones settled a bit, their team returned to re-level the surface for us. It's evident that they take pride in their work. We're so happy with the results of our project and happily recommend Stanaitis Landscaping to anyone looking for a trustworthy, hard-working landscaping team.

We had hired Stanaitis to install outdoor French drains and window wells to waterproof our basement where we had some minor water seepage. We wanted the work done as we had plans to fully finish the already partially finished basement.They finished the job but at the first rainfall, we had more water in the basement that we’ve ever experienced in the 12 years we lived in the house. The water came in under the floors of the finished section of the basement where we never had any water issues. Additionally, the window wells they installed retained stagnant water and did not drain properly.When we asked John to come fix the issue, he came up with multiple excuses including that we possibly had a spring and indicated that we had cracks in our foundation that could have allowed water to seep in. He basically tried to deflect blame to anything but the work he did and wanted us to pay for additional work to install another drain for the window well issue. We eventually hired a third-party landscaper to assess his work where they determined that he installed the French drain incorrectly (essentially too low that there wasn’t enough slope for water to drain through the pipe). He initially disagreed with their assessment but after speaking with them he admitted that his people may have made a mistake. He then offered to fix the issue but from our experience with him at that point, we had lost confidence that he would do the job right. Overall, a disappointing experience!

Initially I had Stanaitis help me correct a drainage problem I had in the front of my property. They did the work in a timely manner and it still is working great. I was so satisfied with this job that I had them do lawn aeration and overseeding and now my lawn is lush and looks beautiful. Additionally, I had them add stone steps in the back yard to make it easier for me to access the top of my property which is slightly hilly. It blends in nicely with my landscape and does exactly what I wanted it to.Services: Grass seeding
