“We were so happy with the food and service we received this afternoon from George's! They catered my daughter's wedding shower. I ordered sandwiches trays, salads, appetizers and a cake for 20 people. Everything was delivered on time, fresh and delicious. The cake was beautifully decorated and tasted as good as it looked! It was more than enough for everyone. We had a lot leftover. Highly recommended!”

“DiPascale's at Meadowbrook Shopping Center - Pennsauken I got the medium sized (10 inch roll) "Pepper Lovers Dream" - pepper turkey, pepper ham, hot pepper cheese, pepper shooters, long hots, lettuce, tomato, onion, light on the oil and vinegar. This hoagie is thiccck. Yeah, thick with 3 c's. I only ate half for lunch, and I have a big apetite (give me an hour or two and I'll probably go finish it ). You want to talk about the BEST hoagie spots, to me, this is one of the spots that sets the bar. I don't mind the $12.99 tag on this when you get what you pay for. The roll holds up, the lunch meat is quality, the veg is crisp and delish. Someone tried telling me this place has fallen off and they serve lettuce sandwiches. Naw, this should be the standard if you're going to put the hoagie on a pedestal.”

I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did.Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter.Also, the guy behind the counter? “I just found this place searching Google Maps as an alternative to going into the city for Middle Eastern groceries. The store is small but well-stocked and I found everything I was looking for. Better prices than Phila. Their house-made hummus is the best I have had anywhere, ever, hands down. If you try it and don't agree, send me a reply and I will meet you there and pay for your purchase. I am 100% serious.Atmosphere: 4 stars only because Ammon isn't and eat-in restaurant. It's a small supermarket with a takeout counter. But it is spotlessly clean and the man at the register was very helpful and even offered to try to special-order an item I couldn't find (Gaz-a pistachio nougat candy from Iran.)Vegetarian options: Standard veggie options for a Middle-Eastern deli/grocery; mostly I purchased groceries but the house-made hummus is worth driving an hour for. I will be back to try the falafel and other vegetarian offerings.”

Lots of specialty and vegan options, including ice cream, dairy, and a freezer section, plus canned goods, local honey… the list goes on… and did I mention locally grown and exotic produce? They just keep getting better because they listen to their community and bring in what we’re are asking for, along with special surprises, like lychees, cotton candy grapes…”

“Have been shopping at Trader Joe's on Arch Street for several months. Store is clean, well lit and we'll stocked. Dairy products are very reasonable. Great selection of some unusual items not found in chain supermarkets. Most items are priced well in comparison. TJ's ground and whole bean coffee selection is good and priced well. Cashiers are very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my shopping trips to Trader Joe's.”

“I love South Deli. I've been going to them for awhile. It's the only place in Center City that sells Dominican/Puerto Rican food. Food that my Puerto Rican mom use to make. My favorite is the pernil, of course. But the rice with beef stew is delicious too. I have to bring home the tostones and pastelillos to my son and husband. That is their favorite. From cured meats to fine cheeses and all the pantry items in between, there is nowhere better to go.Olives, shooters, seafood salad, pasta, olive oil, gourmet vinegars... this shop is an overload for the senses!From the cheeses, among the "have to try" are aged provolone, extra aged Beemster (a gouda beyond explanation), Moliterno al Tartufo, and Testun Occelli alla Grappa.Their pepperoni has no comparison! You will always get fast, friendly service when you visit.Parking can be a challenge. The sidewalk will set you back $51 bucks, but can't be beat for convenience when you're hauling out 5 or 6 bags of goods! :)”

“Manayunk’s best kept secret deli. I eat in, nothing fancy about dining area (thus the 2 stars). I have only purchased subs & steak sandwiches, both served on the best darn rolls found in Philadelphia I believe. They bring to your table. Both have plenty of meat and or cheese with just the right amount of filler as you ordered. Tucked under the SEPTA overhead tracks, known only by the locals. I found it by pure accident riding the SRT one day and not wanting to be hassled with a long wait to find, be seated, € be served at one of the many restaurants located on the main street. After all, I am only passing through on my bike.”

I had a rather pressing issue with this establishment that included an incorrect amount about charged to my debit card. Someone named Ms. Paula was very nice and made my large issue seem rather small and was happy to help me at No Inconvenience her. I was refunded with no problem, and went about my shopping way. Says a lot to maintain a 5 star rating over the course of 4years. Thanks for putting this marker in our community, it’s has been a blessing to us all ❣️&& thanks again Paula for the pleasant experience !! 4 years ago:I just began shopping here about 2-3 months ago . The prices are great . They a great selection of name brand foods as well. You also do not have to pay the soda tax at this store. My only downside is that they dont have a freezer for seafood. I went a few times for the frozen tilapia fillets or the salmon , or even raw shrimp .They don’t have these items , and they are a staple in my household ❤️ overall a great store , with great prices .For anyone else wondering , they do accept wic also if your a wic client . And they also have name brand baby food , diapers , and wipes as well as generic !”
