I had to call several times because they didn’t return calls. My husband needed a referral to a specialist and they couldn’t figure out how to do the referral. Very unprofessional and not knowledgeable. We will not come back.

I tried to deal with this place, but it just ain't gonna happen. I called, to see if I could set up an appointment, and the first issue was that the call was answered by a machine. I DON'T TALK TO MACHINES! I told the stupid machine that I wanted to talk to a person, and at first I thought that I might get to talk to somebody.but it was not to be. I sat there listening to the same stupid recordings over and over, and after 10 minutes of this I gave up on the idea of actually reaching a person there. I will take my business elsewhere.

Visionworks had a nice selection of frames and it was very easy to make an appointment, however I did not like the fact that there was no doctor on site to do my exam. Rather it was all remote. I truly feel that you get sub-par service when looking through a computer screen talking to a doctor. In the future, I'll get an eye exam with a doctor in person and then go there to get glasses.

My wife went here. No doctor on site. Telehealth. Weird. Bad considering its twice the price of surrounding places that do the same thing. Will not be back. Techs walking in and out of the room during the "video" visit.

Shelly was excellent!! The frame of my 18 month old go to pair of flex glasses broke. I stopped in without an appointment & Shelly took me right away. She was very kind, courteous, and was quickly able to locate a nearly identical frame to match my lenses. Even better it was covered by my insurance. Shelly was super!!

This place is a joke. I’ve been here 3 times and each time it’s been a issue. After completing my first exam, I was unable to obtain my prescription or pay, because the system was down. When I came back, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and impatient with me, even though it was their problem that I even had to come back. Last week I made an appointment to be seen and the day off, I received a phone call telling me the system was done and I had to reschedule. Now today, I’m getting a phone call that they have to reschedule my rescheduled appointment because of staffing issues?? Just shut this place down. Also how unprofessional to make customers aware of employee staffing. I’m afraid I won’t be able to get glasses anytime soon. I am disgusted with this place.

I waited over a month for the frames, I called and only to find out that they had to reorder them because they were not in yet. I assume the frames were never actually ordered. I was told they would take 2 weeks to arrive and that they would contact me. That's very inconvenient when your current glasses frame is broken and have to be without them for that long. I requested a refund and would never go there again.

I've worn glasses my whole life and yesterday was my first time going to visionworks. It was the best eye appointment I've ever had. Everyone there was super nice. They got me in and out as quick as they could. They explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it. The prices were very reasonable. They didn't accept my kind of insurance but they still did what they could to help me save money by giving me a 40% discount. I saved over $100 thanks to the amazing people working there. I would 100% recommend them to anybody. Thank you to the amazing people working there.

Rude receptionist. Glasses are not right, been on hold for 1/2 hour trying to reach them. Worst experienve ever, $400 for useless glasses that I can't see out of and the staff in Chambersburg, PA is rude. Not being able to see a Dr. in person yet being charged in full as if the Dr. was there is ridiculous. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND SANITY on these clowns.

Went there today trying to get a frame my glasses were messed up and they couldn’t help me. I went to target and found a pair for 20$. If ur trying to replace your frame for old glasses don’t come here. They aren’t prepared to help u. Other than that.. they were kind and respectful.

I don't normally do reviews unless it's really warranted. My daughter was charged for someone else's bill, given someone else's contacts and still 48 hours later, there is no resolution. They just can't figure it out. This is not the first negative experience at this location.
