I refuse to come here, I will happily drive the extra length to go to Hagerstown. The people working here scam & lie, I came in needing a new phone for my husband, was told my bill would go up 68$ for the new iPhone with insurance.. i thought that was super high, I kept getting pressured for Verizon’s insurance vs Apple care instead of discussing options, then she told me I can take off the insurance off my phone and add it to my husbands (I didn’t think I had ins to my phone) I automatically felt pressured and uncomfortable and kept getting told I need ins since the condition of the phone was bad before, I also wasn’t being explained anything, just manipulated, I was just told a price, so I told her I wanted to step outside to make a call to discuss with my husband and she didn’t seem to like that, so I called my husband then called into Verizon customer service to make sure I was being quoted correctly, here I was told it would only be 51$ for the phone and the insurance to be added, and that I NEVER had insurance on my phone, so she lied to me, and then it all made sense, the extra quoted cost on her end was her adding insurance to my phone as well as his!! The total came up to 68$ how perfect… so she is adding things and lying and manipulating to get a sale… so I did a phone pickup order from the Verizon phone rep and went in to pick the phone up and called them out on their scamming… the girl had a awful look on her face and knew she got caught. The bald I’m assuming manager (he was pushy and not nice as well) and the girl working todays shift 1/3/24 @ 9am should not be working there…

I went to the Verizon on November 9-2023 To purchase internet for my home.I entered the store and was approached buy a store sales boy .He went and asked the store manager.He said yes he can help me with that .I waited for 2 hours.I couldn't wait there any longer. I told them I had to leave.So the store sales clerk suggested for a appointment for me at another time. There were other women in the store asking for help with there cellphones they went to the black man working there. A he just laughed out loud. They ask what's so funny he didn't answer. Then grin at them silly. He's a dummy dum ass. That manager went to the back of the store. Don't go to this place on 925 Wayne avenue, Chambersburg,pa 17201. See the white boy with tattoos on his arm and the black man..just leave the store.

Don’t go to the store ever. The employees will lie to you just to get a sale. I went in to switch from T Mobile to Verizon. First they offer me an outrageous quote, so I was all but out the door so they get me a quote more affordable and offer me 2 visa gift cards for transferring 2 lines. Knowingly it’s a bogus offer since that offer expired months ago. I would not recommend the store on any level whatsoever. Plus I didn’t appreciate the arrogant attitude the so called lazy manager has!

I was treated with kindness,and such respect from this employee .she knew her stuff .I thought she was actually part of management the way she carried herself. .But she wasn't ..Corporate should really take a good look at this special employee her name is Kat copeland I belive she is a diamond in the ruff who needs to be recognized for her amazing knowledge oft the merchandise in the store and also her customer service.Sincerely,A very satisfied Verizon customer Thanks you, Kat .

Manager was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered in a retail environment. He told me to leave the store when the customer service item got difficult and I challenged that he did not have that authority and to please feel free to contact the Chambersburg Police Department trespass me if he felt he had the grounds to do so (which I can attest he did not serving within public safety for over 25 years in all levels of management).Corporate Verizon was immediately contacted and a formal complaint filed.I would strongly consider an alternative store if this manager has not been remediated and or terminated.It is interesting to see so many similar complaints about specifically this store’s manager. One would hope that Verizon corporate would step in at some point and resolve the issues as it is the regional corporate store.

No need to repeat all the other experiences. This is absolutely a pattern. Will not return until full store staff is replaced or retrained in customer experience. Could be one bad apple, but that's all it takes to spoil the bunch.

This placed saved us from the hell realm we found ourselves in with AT&T. They worked as a team to find us the best possible solution for our situation, gave us multiple quotes, and were completely transparent and took time to actually explain everything. Isaiah rules, this store rules. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

Worst overall experience ever. All the associates were 'busy,' and then after waiting over a half an hour for a sales associate to address me (they were busy talking in a huddle talking to another other) I was informed the system was down and the sales professional laughed in my face and walked away. We found out that after reporting my son's phone stolen in September 2022, that I had been paying the bill for the thief, who took out the stolen phones Sim card and used it in a different device. In this day and age, and with the nation's best network, coverage, and technology, I find it hard to believe they could not prevent a switched Sim card from a reported stolen phone to continue to be used. Luckily, there was no way they could reimburse or credit my account for months of paying for a stolen phones usage. Luckily the sales associates found this situation a good source of comedy relief. Luckily the sales associate was able to dial the national customer service line which connected me to an international call center, then recommended I use the online services instead of brick and mortar stores in the future. I have been a Verizon customer for 20 plus years, in all my experiences as a customer with them, this has easily been the worst overall. It is a shame that for the premium usage charges and an official Verizon store full of sales staff and customer service 'professionals' they found my payment of a stolen phone and line humorous, and there was nothing they could do. The real joke in this frustrating situation is the Chambersburg Verizon staff, and the title as 'professional' in any aspect of their service, reliability, value, and overall experience. If you live in the Franklin County Pennsylvania area, drive an extra ten minutes up interstate 81 north and visit the Shippensburg Verizon store. I will follow my own advice next time, and hope you choose to as well.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I recently purchased a phone online and had it shipped to store so I could pick it up. The lady in there was very unprofessional. She didn’t get any commission on selling me a phone because I did it online and she was very rude to me. She wouldn’t even pull up my account to tell me how much my bill was going to be. In fact when I asked her if she could pull it up for me her response was “you will have to look at the app where you took it apon yourself to buy a phone, if you can buy a phone you can see your bill.” I will never be back there. So rude.

Other Verizon stores send customers here to so called "get it done"No disrespect to the workers. This trip out here was a complete waist of time. NO ongoing promotions, NO bundling deals, NO good upgrade deals (until 4 months from now) really?!

Megan was amazing with helping me with an iPhone, iPad, ear buds, iPhone watch, and a JbL party speaker. Very pleasant and good with helping me learn how to speak apple. I have been a verizon customer since their inception. 100% satisfied. Thank you.

Only because there is not an option for zero stars. It is the biggest group of arrogant, clueless, worthless individuals I’ve ever seen under one roof. Tried to get my mothers phone ported in there and they somehow lost her number and she’s no longer able to use her original number. Beyond that they charge $50 stocking fees despite the fact that they couldn’t do their end of the bargain. For the love of God, never set foot in this place in at all cost avoid Verizon and especially the store. The manager is worthless too.

ELDER ABUSE. Tried to help my elderly mother manage her account. Didn’t have the PIN. No alternative provided. Couldn’t get help. Manager of the store is absolutely awful, actually KICKED ME OUT OF THE STORE. someone needs to fire that guy. Horrible customer service.

What a relief!!! I'd been dreading replacing my old phone, after an abysmal experience in a Hagerstown location (the one off Garland Groh). The salesperson there talked over me & tried to push a model waaaaaay more expensive & fancy than I wanted. I ended up walking out.This experience was entirely the opposite. Monae got me set up with the phone I wanted, with no hard sell or interruptions. She was friendly & efficient. It was well worth $30 to not have to fuss with setting it up. I was out of there in less than half an hour, and with no headache this time.
