We were on a long roadtrip and found ourselves late at night in Chambersburg—we got lucky enough to score a room on a Friday night in the middle of softball tournament season. I wasn’t expecting much, but this very convenient hotel was a delightful surprise. It is clean, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the gym was well equipped, the lobby was comfortable and welcoming, and it is equipped with all sorts of games (including foosball which was a big hit with our son), and the breakfast/coffee was much better than expected with eggs, sausage, bagels, oatmeal, fruit, and make your own pancakes. The food was a higher quality than I would anticipate with the room’s price point. All in all, a really lovely little hotel and a much appreciated experience for a road weary family.

TRU by Hilton in Chambersburg was beautiful and staff were very friendly. The only con was the lack of soundproofing in the walls and ceiling. We could hear our neighbors alarm clock go off, we could hear someone snore and also a puppy barking. I would still recommend it.

This hotel is located in a good location. The staff are all friendly and the breakfast was really good.
Rooms: The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
Food & drinks: The breakfast was really good.

Newly renovated room with kitchenette. Very clean. Staff was great and helpful.

Nice hotel. Modern, clean, and great place. Bed was nice and comfortable. 8 USB ports around room. Small fridge and no microwave. Smart TV has Netflix app which was really nice. Buffet breakfast looked ok, but not everyone likes morning omelets with peppers. Good coffee 24hrs in lobby.
Rooms: Small but big enough. Modern and clean.
Safety: Felt very safe here and around hotel.

Great location, awesome staff, friendly, Sunday breakfast, with coffee's. Excellent workout room, outdoor relaxing, and for me, TESLA charging station for "FREE". We are Hilton Hopping from NY to Florida, no charging cost what so ever.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The location is great, right off the highway. Staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and breakfast choices were excellent. I especially loved the addition of nightlight in the bathroom, I thought that was a very nice touch. Exercise gym was very clean and all the equipment worked. I would highly recommend and would stay here again. I travel up and down route 81.

Our room was smaller than when I visited last year 2023 and one of the covers smelled like urine ?
Nearby activities: Lots of places to eat nearby
Walkability: I wouldn't recommend walking as it's right off the highway.

Nice place to stay. Free Breakfast was good. Rooms were nice.
Only complaint- I stayed for 4 nights and trash was not removed nor the bed was not done.

Great nights sleep. Room very clean, bed firm enough. Breakfast the next morning was good. Serving from 6-9 am. Good choices include oatmeal, fresh pancakes, egg omelet, bacon, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast or bagels. Will stay at Tru again.
