Once again, I went grocery shopping, gave the cashier 2 giant coupons that totaled about $5.00. I got home, checked reciept and found that she never scanned coupons. I rarely use coupons but when I do, seems like certain cashier's never scan them. I never would have bought the 2 items otherwise. This is getting ridiculous. I shouldn't have to check my reciept on every visit.

This Giant is NOT OPEN UNTI 12am (Midnight)!!!!! I'm unsure who or what is responsible for listing hours of operation on Yelp but I am finding that more often than not it is completely incorrect! however this is nothing to do with the store itself... Which is a very nice store and definitely one of my absolute favorite grocery shopping locations! Some things may be a little more costly than giant say Walmart or somewhere similar. However the quality of their food items in there meat and it bakery department as well as fruit and produce is amazing!

An employee helped me on his break load my groceries and take my cart back to the store. He saw me struggling to get through the snow to my car and offered to help right away.

I would like to thank this store from the bottom of my heart. I have gluten allergy and I went into the store yesterday and saw that all the food was labeled gluten free with blue stickers on the shelves. You will never know how much this means to me. It makes shopping and my life that much easier. After I left the store I cried because of the thoughtfulness of the staff who took an allergy that I have and made me feel like a priority. Thank you all so much! I truly hope you continue to do this and that your store is an example for other stores.

This is my main grocery store, it's close to home and has about everything I need. It's expensive when you buy name brands at full price, so I watch for sales, use coupons, and buy store brands. This particular Giant is pretty busy. Lots of parking available. They have both short, stubby carts and full-sized carts. I see the same usual people at the check-out when I go. They're usually pretty friendly and efficient. Some even strike up a little conversation once and awhile. You have to watch with deals like buy a certain dollar amount and get a certain dollar amount off you order instantly. It does't always ring up right. Just keep an eye on the scanner, or ask the cashier at the end to ensure deals ring up correctly. If they don't, they'll make it right. If you buy produce or meat that you find is rotten, you can return it. I returned meat once and it was hassle-free. This Giant has a clearance section in the back by the restrooms. Sometimes you can find some great things, other times it's just junk. The coffee shop inside this Giant makes some great coffee, and it's not horribly expensive. Always fresh tasting. In the winter, you can sit by the fireplace with your coffee, which is nice. Then go do your shopping. ****Coffee shop has closed***** They don't always have baggers, but cashiers often help you bag items. This Giant carries a nice selection of natural and organic items. They have a great selection of teas as well. If you need gluten-free, they have a decent selection of that, but it's really expensive. The pharmacy here could use some improvement. There is often a sign posted and the gate is down at the window when the pharmacist leaves. I can understand reasoning behind that, but it seems like it happens frequently. I get my prescriptions filled there since they take my insurance. They are nice enough, although sometimes it feels like I'm bothering them or interrupting them a little. There is a great selection of vitamins here, too. Plus, they go on sale often, you can take advantage of buy one get one free from time to time, which is great. They have great selection of health products like a drug store has, too. While it's generally more expensive to shop here, you can still do decently with coupons and sales.

Large supermarket with a decent selection of "ready-to-eat" choices, which is what someone like me in a hotel room would need. As well, a good produce section, a huge butcher area and lots of grocery aisles. Prices appeared pretty solid, but will likely drop a bit with the new Aldi going in not far away. Nice to see no wait and more than three registers open!

Follow up to our deli visit of 9/12/2016. My sister in law, who sent us to Giant, would not let our lack of service go without comment. She called and spoke to the manager and he advised her to send us back, to the customer service department, for a gift card. He offered his full apology. We went to the Customer Service Department and they were not left any such authorization under our name. They simply had not been informed of the promise made by a manager earlier that same day. Never-the-less they took our word and gave us a $25 gift card. For that we are thankful. "A failure to communicate" appears to be and underlying problem.

This is my go-to grocery store in Chambersburg. It's conveniently located near Target, Kohl's, and BJ's, so I can get a lot of my shopping done in the area in one trip. Giant carries a lot of merchandise, so it has a wide variety of deli items, baked goods, non-perishables, etc. If you're into organic and health foods, Giant has a wide variety. They also have an excellent salad bar for meals on the go. Try some of their in-store baked breads, they're great! I'm also impressed with the wide variety of deli meats they carry, including Boar's Head brand. The front of the store has a Redbox, so it's a convenient and easy way to rent movies. Giant offers a little bit of everything for everyone, so it will continue to be my go-to grocery store!

Ughh never enough registers open! The isles are so crowded it is mentally painful to shop here. Also the selection seems to be lacking can't ever find what I need. I'd much rather drive the extra 30 min to go to Wegmans for good service and selection.

Great organic selection, friendly and well stocked deli. Yummy bakery... very fresh, good quality, and delicious breads and baked goods. Giant plans on ruining all this by using frozen donuts instead of their delicious made from scratch ones we love... THIS makes me question the direction they are heading. I willingly paid more for quality... if this quality fails, I will stop shopping here
