Even though we live in Maryland we purchased our Toyota at Fitzgerald Toyota in Chambersburg Pennsylvania. Excellent pricing and availability. I continue to make the 70 minute drive to Chambersburg as I have been extremely impressed with the service provided. Making the appointment is easily done online and they send a pleasant reminder a day or so beforehand. Most recently I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and said I would wait. A day before the appointment our audio unit developed a problem and would do nothing but continuously turn itself on and off. When I arrived for my service I told the service advisor of the audio problem, thinking that I’d need to make an additional appointment to have it fixed. Instead he stated that they would be happy to include the audio fix immediately however as I was waiting he warned that it would take longer than the original service. While I waited I received a text containing a video from the tech working on the car with an update and the service advisor personally updated me as well. After 2 hours my oil change was done, my tires were rotated and my audio unit repaired! I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received at this dealership!

My husband and I came here to buy a van they had for sale. The staff told us we could not buy with our MD licenses even though they were valid and we were already pre approved. They were not knowledgable about the car or its features and they were not motivated at all to help us get the deal done that day. Thankfully we went to a dealership with much better customer service and found what we were looking for.

The 2 issues for which I scheduled the service appointment were both addressed. The wait room was comfortable and the young man who waited on me was polite and pleasant.

I’m very unimpressed with the service department at Fitzgerald Toyota Chambersburg. I had service done 4 months ago, which resulted in an issue that still is not resolved to this day. My vehicle has been to the dealership 3 times, with some extended stays lasting several days, with no solution to be found. I have called persistently asking to speak to a service manager, each time resulting in a representative stating that no managers were available, and that I would be receiving a call back the next day. My calls and inquiries were never returned. When I left voicemails, I did not receive phone calls back. For their website stating “Exceptional Customer Service” I have yet to believe this is true. There is a lack of communication, and false advertising.

I brought it in for state insp, and service. I was waiting in the waiting room, which is nice, but when service questions came up, they were sent to my home email. My wife called me asking about the cost, and said she would bring a coupon. I went out to meet her, and my car was coming in. I found out that some one else paid the bill. After that was sorted out, I find none of the maintenance was done. A bit of a cluster...But I'm bringing it back on Friday, for the maintenance.
