They have a beautiful dog park, and our dogs loved it. However I wouldn't go there between the hours of 1-4 pm. There is a not so nice group of women that go there around this time, and if they don't approve of your dogs well, they are very nasty. Other than that, I would give this park 5 stars!

I had a feral cat on my property that had kittens close to winter. I slowly coaxed the kittens out with food one by one so l could bring them here to hopefully find good homes.
The people here were kind of rude for just dropping off kittens. The lady even tried to suggest they were my kittens already since I fed them (how else was I supposed to get scared kittens to come to me). The woman at the front desk kept trying to insult me by hinting these were my personal kittens that I decided I couldn't care for. Here's the spoiler- I am horrifically allergic to cats, I get close to asthmatic reactions with them long enough so they were definitely not my personal pets. I didn't deserve to be treated like I was doing something wrong for trying to make sure stray kittens found a home

Was told in July to call Aug 26th and would definitely get on the schedule to get a cat spayed Sept 19th that someone dropped off at my home, called right at 11 am like they said ? I was told they were all filled up. I'll be dammed there's no way I cld of missed this. I will not donate to them anymore ? ? ?

I brought my team of seven from Cox Automotive to help the CVAS for a few hours and we couldn’t have been more impressed with how great the facility was, it was so clean and the volunteers/workers were awesome. The animals are so well taken care of and seem to be in very good hands until they find a home. One of the dogs was adopted over the weekend, or else my boss would have been coming back for him on Monday. Such a great facility and cause, it’s so great. It’s so great we have places like this one.

We adopted our newest family member from here and the staff was so helpful throughout the process. They even have a worker to evaluate how the new animal will do with your current ones and I really liked that because we have a shy boy who takes awhile to warm up to other dogs. Jasper (Juma) has been the best addition to our family and we are so glad we were able to give him his forever home!

A month ago I adopted a cat there, all the personnel were so kind and helped me solve my questions and of course helped me adopt my cat, a really good and lovely experience that everyone should have♥️

We went there to gift them with a crate mat that I had mistakenly purchased from Chewy. Instead of returning it to them, they asked us to gift it to an animal shelter, and we took it to Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter.

I went here hoping to adopt a new companion, and everyone there was so kind and helpful! I found my furever friend! The sweetest, cuddliest little gray kitty❤️ I renamed him Basil and I love him to pieces.
Jade especially was very kind, answered all my questions, and made sure I didn’t feel rushed to adopt. Thank you ☺️

My two daughters and I visited this shelter and were greeting kindly . My daughters got two cats from this shelter; both in good condition with updated vaccines. The building was clean and animals were well kept with food and clean accomodations ! We enjoy seeing what they have to offer from time to time.
