Not helpful when a baby animal needs emergency services - turned me away and offered to make an appointment for an emergency visit. Terrible no help to animals. What kind of an animal hospital turns away a sick baby animal? It was a kitten, and I wasn't asking to leave him I wanted to get him medical help. You are no friend to animals and that's factual.

5-stars all the way. We had our 18 year old cat euthanized by Dr. Varkay here in our home. The Doctor/assistant couldn't have been more caring during this procedure and we are very grateful for this service. Thank you!

I just walked out of that office. I was late. I believe in nine minutes but the point I’m making here is there was no one in the office. There was no one in the parking lot. No one in the lobby and they wanted me to reschedule. They were doing nothing back there.

UPDATE:
I AM UPDATING THIS REVIEW BECAUSE I AM SO UPSET WITH 2 OF THE VETS HERE.
WE TOOK OUR NEW PUPPY IN TO GET HER SHOTS, full exam and fecal test. A few days later I was called and told everything was negative. She went back for her 2nd visit and the rest of her shots, I verified that her results were fine. Another vet looked and said everything is fine. This past weekend, my puppy threw up and there was a roundworm in her throw up. I called them right away and they gave me prescription. When I was looking up the prescription in their app, I looked at her test results from almost 3 months ago and as the image will show, she was positive for roundworm then. I'm so mad this was overlooked. When I approached them about the mater, they said they thought it would be ok since she is on simpatico trio. I guess NOT!
I don't know what happened here, they use to great with my other dogs. I'm so mad!!
We love this vet. We see Dr. Miller with all 3 of our animals
She takes the time to go over every detail with us.

The vets and techs here were super kind and very straight forward with us. The cost wasn't crazy either. Definitely worth the hours drive to be treated with the compassion they showed us.

I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the staff of Chambersburg Hospital's continued good care of my dog, Wendell. He has some eye issues, and after several years of treatment through a specialist had his left eye removed. I opted to have the enucleation performed at Chambersburg Animal Hospital and not with the specialist, and we recieved top of the line care and support. One year post surgery and my little guy is having issues in his remaining eye. I was able to schedule a next day appointment, and a very helpful gentleman showed concern and patience when scheduling my appointment. Our appointment required my dog to be muzzled for a check of his eye pressure, and the vet and vet tech could not have been kinder or more compassionate. This is a good veterinary hospital. They are professional, knowledgeable, and have a wonderful bedside manner with animals. Thank you!

If I could leave a negative review, I would absolutely give negative 5 stars. Not sure what the issue is with this vet is lately. I got a puppy last year, and she keeps me on my toes to say the least. Therefore, when I call my vet I expect GOOD service. Our pets are our children in most cases. This clinic is absolutely awful, I only liked 1 of the vets that have seen my dog because she was honest with me. However, I now take back my kind reviews of her because not only is this the SECOND time that these vets neglected to tell me that my dog had an ear infection, SHE of all of them was to call me back A WEEK AGO. Understanding that people are short staffed, and tight on help - I reached out TWICE, asking for information on why they felt the need to not to tell me my dog had an ear infection TWICE. crickets. Not to mention that they are now charging $75 for an emergency visit, when you can't get a regular appointment for 3 weeks? Absolutely ridiculous.
readers: trust your vets, read the harsh reviews to make those decisions. This vet isn't even loyal to those who have had pets there for 20+ years.

The love that is shown by the employee’s, the techs, and doctors is appreciated and my dog Daisy loves them…. They spend time, love the dog, ask for questions and show such kindness.…i highly recommend this business.
