Highly recommend. I took my cat on a Saturday because I was worried about my 12 year old cat who wasnt herself. Dr.Howland was so kind and compassionate and good with my senior kitty. And could tell how stressed and upset I was about my kitty. They ran bloodwork and were able to get the results within 40 mins. Hope to not have to bring my kitty back anytime soon but if I do, will know it is a very understanding Veterinary Center.

This place had great reviews. My dog had an upset stomach with blood and also vomiting since it was the weekend and they were opened I took him there. Dr was nice enough that’s why I gave it one star. Dr said I had 2 options 1. Do some testing or 2. Treatment. I went with treatment. All the Dr did was give him a shot for nausea and give him prescription food. I asked a couple of times if she was going to give him medicine for diarrhea and she said no, food will fix everything. My dog would not even touch the food. Sick all night. Took him to his vet the next day since it was Monday. Was given antibiotics and 2 other medications plus intravenous fluids, by night he had stopped having diarrhea and vomiting. Very disappointed with Central vet, I thought I had found a new vet for emergencies. Would not recommend.

Highly recommend! My dog needed an emergency visit and they were able to squeeze us in right away. Dr. Howland was so compassionate and knowledgeable. She completed a thorough exam, answered all my questions, and the prescribed treatment/medication fixed my little guy right up! Facility was very clean and all of the staff members were wonderful, including Dr. Harvey who completed his follow up exam. You can tell they truly care about the animals. Prices were fair. They even contacted me the next business day to see how he was doing to make sure he was getting better. We had such a good experience that now my dog is a regular patient. Thank you for helping him!

I called on a Saturday and received friendly, professional and same day service for our Stella. Although very sweet and submissive, Stella has gotten very anxious at the vets in her older age and is accustomed to needing a comfort pack and for any procedures, a muzzle because she thrashed around ?. The staff there made fast friends with her, were patient and examined her on the floor at her eye level. It made all the difference and she actually left happy. Thank you for the wonderful service. Highly recommend.

It's nice to find a vet that's open on Sunday when your cat is sick and you don't want to wait till Monday. My cat Millie who is a black scary cat has always been afraid of that when she goes there she sits on the table and purse they're very gentle and kind and they have the dogs on the other side which is nice until you have to check out and then you have to walk past the dogs but she seems to really content there even though she's sick. The people are very friendly and kind.

My cat which is close to 18 had an issue shaking and we were besides our selves . We called Central bucks veterinarian and they were able to see us last minute. They did the necessary bloodwork and found out that our cat was OK although it had diabetes which needed to be closer managed . The vet doctor was very professional and the vet team Was very caring. I highly recommend them to anyone for their pet needs. THANK YOU!!!!!

We have always adopted all our dogs over the years. Our one is a Yorkie who has special needs due to his past. We were told by our previous vet that he had to have a tooth removed which we dreaded since he's so frightened of everything. They had a long wait so we went to get a second opinion at Central Vet and Dr. Heitzman was beyond phenomenal. She put our fears at ease (as well as Mickey's) and on the day of his appointment she allowed us to be with him until he was taken back and kept us posted throughout the day. She and everyone in her office are wonderful! Mickey even gave her kisses which he never does to anyone but us!

I normally take my dog to their sister location in Hatboro, but my dog’s specialist asked me to get bloodwork done for my dog before the holiday.So, I accepted a last minute open appt at Central today.The tech on the phone tried to pressure me into agreeing to doing an echocardiogram. That would run me about $900.I told her we just had x rays/echocardiogram done 3 weeks ago. So, I can’t agree to that right now. I don’t have the money. I told her I don’t need them to do the echocardiogram or adjust my dog’s meds. I just need the bloodwork done and sent to his specialist.They didn’t like that very much.The doctor was waiting for me to arrive in the lobby. She was cold, arms crossed, giving me the death stare.She accused me of being disrespectful to her receptionist on the phone… I would never, ever disrespect anyone in customer service. Ever.I worked in customer service for almost 10 yrs.I told her I’ve no idea what she’s talking about.In front of the entire room, she continues to press the issue.So unprofessional. So insensitive.My dog is dying of heart disease. I’m emotional about it.I wish I could spend thousands of dollars to potentially prolong his life, but I don’t have the money. It kills me.Doctors are supposed to be empathetic, not kick you when you’re down.Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.
