my dog loves this place he goes 3 days a week Liz and the gang are great with him I glade we tryed them and hours are perfect for us I'd recommend ChaddsFord Best Friends to anyone

From my experience not many cats lodged here but that's OK because they have time to spend with cats. It would be nice if they would make sure where the cats are held has less of a urine spell. Perhaps better ventilation would be helpful. Lastly, My impressions is Best Friends is mostly geared to dogs.

I just recently boarded my kitten here last month, & was reminded how great it is! The cattery is in its own building, away from the dogs, so the kitties can have some quiet. Each cat condo has two large levels, each with its own window & a little shelf so the cats can sit & look out into the trees surrounding the property. Exactly what my cat was doing when I went to collect her at the end of her stay!

My dog loves going here and the people are usually friendly. However I would never take my dog here again after a recent grooming experience that they completely denied. My dog came home and we knew something was wrong with him. He wasn’t moving much and shaking. We thought he might have gotten sick or ate something and were ready to take him to an after hours vet. Thankfully, it took a while, but we finally saw that his paw was bloody and quickly realized his quick was cut way too short and he was in pain when they trimmed his nails. When this happens there is a lot of blood snd it’s painful for dogs. I completely understand that this can happen even with the most experienced groomers. I am not upset they did this. It’s the way it was handled. I sent a nice email just letting them know that we almost sent him to the ER until we realized and it would have been nice to know so we werent freaking out thinking he ate something/got sick and almost incurring a large vet bill. Also if they told us, we wouldn’t have walked him which probably made it worse. They called me after getting my email and completely denied it. All they needed to say was we are sorry we should have told you but it’s almost like the groomer did not want to admit it. They said my dog must have done it after he left or got it caught on something which is crazy they thought I’d believe it. It was a completely smooth clean cut across the nail where it was clipped too short with dried up blood. There was even blood on his collar when we picked him up and we knew after we figured it out that’s where it came from. Like I said, dogs bleed a lot and yelp when this happens so the groomer knew, but denied anything happening. So needless to say don’t get your dog groomed here. We loved the pet hotel but we simply don’t trust them anymore and Milo won’t be returning

The staff here is very kind to my dog. My dog loves going here and is always excited when we arrive. There is a groomer onsite who is also very good. Highly recommend!

We love Best Friends - and so does our dog, Daisy! She is so excited to go to daycare and the staff is terrific - very kind, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Boarded our dog here for the first time last week. He stayed a total of 5 days and did very well. We requested he be bathed prior to pickup (without grooming) and were called when he was ready for pickup after his bath. Staff is pleasant and friendly. We will be using them again for boarding.

I have a mixed Bernese Mountain Dog, and he sheds a lot!!! He visits Ana once a month for his grooming appointment. Ana de-sheds him, brushes his hair and he comes home looking so handsome! There is a variety of services, and she is so sweet she sends me pictures of him while he is under her care! I'm not taking him anywhere else!

My Chester loves going to day camp and boarding there. I know he likes it there because he gets excited when they take him from me. Anna does a great job grooming him when he starts to look scruffy.

First time we boarded our dog. Returned with an uncontrollable cough, we have a very active dog, any time he as much as walked down the stairs when we returned home he coughed. Also paid for grooming on the last day yet we picked him up with feces on his backside and brushed handfuls of hair out of him the evening we picked him up. STAY AWAY.

Best Friends chadds ford feels more like family to us. My dog loves it here. Every time we drop him off for daycare he is so excited to play and leaves happy and exhausted. I feel very safe and comforted knowing my dog is in good hands and being taken care of. They have a lot fun with the dogs and are always doing activities. They are always taking pictures and posting on instagram. Bonus: they have cameras so I can watch at anytime. Best friends is the total package—we use them for grooming and the occasional boarding as well. Highly recommend 10/10 service and hard working people who love animals!

Great staff very friendly and good with my dog. She knows where she’s going soon as we pull of 202. My dog only has been going for short time but so far she loves it. Best part she’s tired when I pick her up.
