Went to get a tree. Trees were expensive; they all are this year, and Tait Farm HAS trees, fresh-cut and in good supply, when almost every other tree farm in the area is already closed. Service was friendly and competent. The tree is drinking water and retaining needles like a champ!

We love this place! Great healthy flowers to plant and we the shop is great. There’s a reason why their “shrubs” (syrups made from fruit grown on the farm) are popular ingredients in cocktails at restaurants across the region

Beautiful area for buying Christmas trees! First time this year! Only problem is highway robbery on the prices!!! Understand everything has gone up on prices and shortages of taller trees, but compared to competitors prices, Way Overpriced!!!!!

Tait Farms has a website for online orders. Local merchants also sell Tait Farms (Kitchen Shoppe in Carlisle and Rosemary House in Mechanicsburg). If you're anywhere near State College--We Are!! (Penn State!)--stop by and see an abundant harvest of all good things. You will find tasty shrub for homemade salad dressings or handcrafted adult beverages, fruit butters for delicious spreads, seasonal home decor, gift items, local snack foods, and so much more! Take a road trip, enjoy scenic rural views, and visit with the welcoming staff of Tait Farms.

They have a lot of amazing products here. Many jellies that aren't overly sugary, simple syrups, and a Great live plant selections. The store itself is really great. I gave four stars because of the staff. I was traveling from out of town. I went out of my way to come to this particular store. I spent several hundred dollars at the store. Four cases of different items. Plus several live plants. I asked if I could use the bathroom while I was there. I was told there's no public restroom. No exception for someone spending so much money and out of town? I was told this is the country you have to go to town for the bathrooms. Extremely disappointing customer service. I had to leave the store find a different place to use the bathroom and then come back to make my purchase. If I was smart I would've just left the store and not come back and made a purchase. Truly I can get jelly and simple syrups other places. I'll definitely make sure I don't have to go to the bathroom if I ever go back. I mean as a business out in the middle of nowhere basically wouldn't it be nice to at least have a porta potty for your customers if you don't want to share your bathroom? Disappointing!

Shopping at Tait Farm has always been a pleasant experience. Whether I'm looking for perennials, annuals, spreads, fresh vegetables, or a special gift, I always drive away feeling as if I've spent my hard-earned money in a meaningful way.

This is one of my favorite shops. They have an excellent selection of vegetable, tomato and pepper plants for your garden. They also carry a variety of native plants and pollinators. Also the only place I know in State College that has David Austen roses in the spring. Their shrubs, jams and other products are exceptional. Lastly, they carry beautiful and local pottery and also tablecloths. I like to go here to buy special gifts. Highly recommend.

Everybody was so friendly and helpful even as we sowed chaos by bringing a 3 year old and twin 1 year olds along.

GREAT PLACE. I have been coming here for a few years. I really LOVE the selection of native plants and fresh garden delights. They have fair pricing, local harvest, and sustainable inventory! I have found some real treasures here, and love just coming to look around. I bought all my violas and pansies here this year. They also have incredible seed selections and artisanal seed packs. The local arts are incredible and I love the sense of community here. The staff are all eager to help you out and are very friendly. I make this place a regular stop. :)
