Horrible experience. Over doubled the price quoted after they had possession of my belongings. Items missing and damaged. The company would not answer my calls or emails, and offered me $200 "hush" money to stop talking about my horrible experience. I never got that, no response to my insurance claim. My lost items and damaged items were a total loss. Do not use this company!

I wish there was no stars. I never write reviews unless I had a really bad experience. I'm going to ever page to write a review about Jet Moving System because I am someone who buys a lot of service online and if I get screwed , I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing. I always read the reviews about everything and if is more than 1 bad review I won't use the service. Ok, I was out of the country when my boyfriend who didn't do a research booked JMS from NYC to Miami. It's been 2 months and we didn't receive our belongings. Not only they overcharge u other than what u were told, but they don't even return your phone calls. Please don't use this company. I'm writing a review to save you since I been burned by this company. I'm thinking to call a local news station and make this company go away, is just a scam.

Hello all. I am writing this review as a warning to all of you who are considering this company to move your furniture. I have gotten a quote from them for $1800 after I listed all of the items I had, and the salesperson assured me that it will cover everything, On pick up day, their crew shows up to pick up the furniture and pack my stuff, and the first thing I notice that they had no experience at all in packing, and it looks like they were just hired from the street with no training. Second thing is they loaded all of my stuff in their truck, and then they tell me that my stuff took more space than the expected and because of that they have to charge me $4000.00. Of course I flipped out, because their salesperson estimated my cost at $1800 and now the price is more than doubled. They got their salesperson on the phone and she turned out to be the most liar person on earth, and demanded that I pay the full price otherwise they won't unload my stuff, not to mention my wife and new born baby who were sitting in the car waiting and of course the baby crying non-stop. pure blackmailing case. Because I wanted my cloths and the baby's needs I asked if I can get those but they were instructed not to unload anything, then I offered to pay with a credit card but they would not accept claiming that I might dispute it, not knowing that I can dispute the amount any time I want, and to top it off is that the time was 6:30 and the banks are closed so I could not pull any cash out of my account. long story short, they took my stuff on Saturday, and would not deliver till Monday, which forced me to go out and buy cloths and blankets, and stuff for the baby. On the following Monday, I got into a big fight with them in order to bring my stuff over, and on delivery I paid the $4000. my stuff was damaged badly, and most of my furniture had scratches all over. I am suing this company for the blackmailing they did, and false numbers they gave. I do not recommend this company to an enemy!!!! They are the most rude, liar unprofessional people I ever met in my life especially that salesperson Farah who pretended to be the nicest at start and provided false estimate to get me to go with them, Do not use them, and if you need further explanation, please feel free to call me or email me. 203-606-9025

no stars for this company.horrible experience with this company. first off the bat, they arrived three hours late on moving day. they showed up in a budget rent a truck and the driver said we need to sit down so he could explain to me ' how they operate.' it turned out that the new price quote was $3,000 more than their original quote. in addition,i didn't find out until the day of the move that all of my belongings were first being shipped off to new jersey from long island and being unloaded and then reloaded onto another truck. to put this into perspective, all of belongings were being moved four times. five days later, my belongings would arrive at my new house in pa. this time, they arrived in an atlas moving truck. by the time i got my reading glasses, the damage was already done. the driver insisted on making a u turn on my road and did extensive damage to the common areas in the development,he then continued to drive over my neighbors property, and then across my yard. the state police were called and i filed an accident report with them. finally, upon unloading the truck,i discovered property damage to mattresses and box springs,a wooden bookcase, a broken platter, broken pictures, and damage to a table. i submitted a claim with jet and have been waiting since january for a check. their insurance company had wanted to settle for $63.00. which is totally unacceptable . i must have spent that much on tylenol alone. my phone messages and emails go unanswered. do yourself a big favor and do not use jet moving or any of their subcontractors.

I moved from Florida to New York, I was told it would take 5 days, it took 10. The pick-up went pretty smooth but I did not like the driver asking for a tip. I had 32 boxes shipped and when I received them, every single one was smashed. Any glass was broken even though they were wrapped with bubble wrap. An antique mirror was destroyed and my racing bike was scuffed. When I try to call Jet, all I get is voice mail and they don't return calls. THEY ARE THE MOVERS FROM HELL!!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!! USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

These movers are crooks. They charged me more than double my estimate and then at delivery charged me extra to offload the truck to my house. They were hours late picking my stuff up and 7 days late delivering it.

First off I want to say I have moved several times so I guess I am lucky that this is the first time I was totally screwed by a moving company. I will also say the guys that moved my stuff were great....its the people behind the scenes that aren't worth a thing!!!! I was given a quote over the phone with detailed pieces of furniture as I have done this move just 6 months prior to my move. I was quoted a rate and I went with it knowing it was an estimate and I was COMPLETELY CLEAR about the objects moving since I still had the detailed sheet from my move cross country just 6 months prior to that. All was fine until 1/2 my things were on the truck and then they proceed to tell me its going to be wayyyyyy over my initial quote. They went back and forth with the people in the office and after I got on the phone with the one in charge they said there was nothing they could do?????? So get 1/2 my stuff on the truck and then tell me my initial quote was going to triple!?!?!?!?!? I was furious! I wish I would have told them to take it all off and put the furniture back in the house. They know what they are doing!!!!!!....they trap you into a low quote to get you to commit and then after your stuff is on the truck they change it. They also then informed me that they needed CASH when the furniture was delivered which instead of taking 10-14 days took over a month to get my stuff!!! They are never available when you call the office and never return calls. I have moved frequently and have never had such a miserable experience in all my life. My quote went from $2100 and ended up costing my $5200. I totally understand an estimate is an estimate but come on..... THAT WAS REDICULOUS!!! IT COST ME MORE TO MOVE CROSS COUNTRY WITH THEM WITHOUT MY CAR THEN IT DID TO MOVE EAST 6 MONTHS PRIOR WITH MY CAR. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR LOW QUOTES...ITS JUST A SCAM TO GET YOU TO COMMIT...THEN YOU WILL GET SCREWED TOO!

This company is a scam. They quote prices in square footage (illegal), instead of by weight. The price quoted will be very low untill they load all your belongings onto their truck, then the price will triple. And they DO NOT deliver in 7-10 days.

Difficult to even give one star rating to these guys. I have learnt a lesson from these scam artists. Also, there should not be a rush trying to save some money initially and being robbed by completely untrust worthy bogus service providers like Jet Moving. Please people, do not go to these guys. They will rip you off. My quote, after hearing all details was for $1500. The lady was even very keen and provided me some discounts to make it attractive. Now they start harassing by calling me every now and then request to make the move on days which was way before my scheduled date. Just at their whims. I did not bulge because, I needed to plan, get my packing done in an orderly manner and more importantly had to make arrangements for leaving and entering the different houses on specific dates. Finally they managed to convince me to get the move done a day prior to actual date. When the crew arrived, before even entering the house, they started demanding almost double the amount and started saying that the computer estimates are bogus, that the guy who came and inspected my home items is very new (so he does not know) etc. To top that, the apparent supervisor (some Mike Banderas) started an absolutely unbelievable conversation with me. He mentioned that "Listen, we are a truck company. I agree that the guy who gave the estimate is young and he does not know, we are asking you to do the move a day before the scheduled date. But that is how it is. Lets enter a deal" etc. Completely rude and never to be trusted. Same as the previous reviewer, they took a blocking in my credit card, did not charge it, demanded everything in cash etc etc. PLEASE DO NOT COMMIT THE MISTAKE OF ENGAGING JET MOVING EVER. They are a scam, unprofessional and not to be trusted at all.

I used this company July 13 2012, and I cannot even begin to tell you what a nightmare it was. Leslie Miller (the consultant), went over everything with me, from all the items, to gas charges and tolls. She gave me an estimate and although I was a little skeptical I decided to use them. Well, the estimate Leslie gave was based on cubic square feet, and she was off by 500 cubic square feet according to the moving men. So, the price went from $980 to $2000! After calling the company and speaking to Leslie and getting nothing accomplished, we told the movers to get my items off the truck. The mover (lets call him Mr. Mover, I cannot even say his name, it was Israeli) decided to make a deal on a set price. Now we are at $1200 plus gratuity. When we say deal, he tells me cash only, they don't accept credit cards on same day delivery! What? I confirmed credit card acceptance with Leslie Miller ,and also gave a deposit. No, they never charged the credit card, and only accept credit cards if your using their free 30 day storage facility. So, cash it is (in reality the house was sold and the moving had to happen). Now, we are in NJ, unloading has begun. Every time I see Mr. Mover, he keeps telling me to go to the bank. After 30% of the items are in the house and harassing me for money I give him half. Well, that was not good enough. We argue, he goes outside, I call the office. Leslie Miller tells me she will connect me with customer service. I speak to Charlie, who tells me he will not have Mr Mover unload the rest of the truck without full payment. In the end, we call the police, who were there in less than five minutes. Within that 5 minutes, Mr. Mover put everything that they took off the truck, back on, closed the doors and was trying to leave! My husband went in front of the truck and refused to move. Police officers came, and told the movers if they did not unload the truck, they would be arrested for possession of stolen property, and would go to jail, we would get our belongings and they wouldn't get paid! For 15 minutes Mr. Mover wouldn't get anything off the truck, the 2nd mover (who was around 20 years old, and spoke no english) took his shirt off and was doing pushups in the street, the 3rd mover did not say anything and just sat outside the truck observing Mr. Mover willing to be arrested. Finally, they did move everything, and they worked extremely hard, in 90 degree temperatures without earning a single dollar for tip. Mr. Mover was clearly the owner of this scam (who had the audacity to hit on my mother)! Do not use!!!! Had I not been a strong, outspoken woman, they would have robbed us blind. Welcome to the neighborhood! DO NOT USE!
