My husband sent flowers to me this week for our 25 th wedding anniversary. He doesn’t send flowers ever. So I was surprised, unfortunately, he wanted a nice bouquet and a plant for my office. Although the flowers were fresh, I got a poisonous plant, a black anniversary balloon and “funeral flowers” washed out light purple and green mums and a couple big white lilies. He told the person on the phone what he wanted (he’s clueless and left it up to them)but you would think a business that has been around for so long would realize the significance and meaning behind the flowers that they arranged. Old ladies really don’t want to see mums in there bouquet to celebrate a long marriage.

To say I’m impressed with Puhlman’s Flower Shoppe is an understatement!!
I chose to order Mother’s Day flowers from here because they are local to my son and daughter in law. I have never been here nor have I ever ordered from them.
I’m saying this because I’ve had some “interesting” experiences with other florists and wasn’t sure what to expect this time around.
I tried to call them to place my order but my call went to voicemail. I visited their website and discovered I could place my order online.
Their online order form was extremely user friendly and allowed me to include special instructions and notes.
I chose the “Designer’s Choice” bouquet and stated the favorite colors of the recipient was orange and green. Again, I was skeptical about what the arrangement would look like because I wasn’t able to verbally describe what I had in mind.
The arrangement was absolutely, 100% beautiful!! There were different types of all orange flowers with beautiful greenery to complement it all.
The order was delivered on the day I requested. The delivery person followed the delivery instructions perfectly by leaving the flowers at the back door in the event there was nobody at home.
My daughter in law LOVES the flowers!!
THANK YOU for helping make this Mother’s Day that more special for her and for putting my skepticism to rest!

I highly recommend! We ordered flowers for my partent's home going service. We buried both parents same day. The florist was very patience, friendly and was very imformative. Our parents arrangements were stunning.

This has to be the most expensive florist I have ever been too!!! No selection of flowers I was pretty much stuck with what they had which wasn’t much and walked out of there with practically nothing….. and $26.00 later on a rose and a lily and some filler which was baby’s breath ( the worst filler ever) 3 things mind you !!! Sorry won’t ever go back ! Oh yeah did I mention they had dollar store items they they where for resale for 5xs the mark up?? Sorry not sorry

Took a chance with a "designer's choice" bouquet. Girlfriend was very happy with it, and it included some not-yet-bloomed tulips that began to bloom two days later, which she likes. Like a gift that keeps on giving. As the buyer, I appreciated their help fixing an address mix-up (double-check if it's Carnegie or Heidelburg) and also that there aren't add-on 'handling' fees like some of the corporate places charge.

My son ordered flowers for me for Mother’s Day.The flowers were delivered on Saturday to a different address than mine. I finally received the flowers Monday. They look like they may have been beautiful on Saturday, however Monday, not so. Flowers are wilted and droopy. I would be ashamed if I were you.Very unsatisfactory in my opinion.

We spent just over $600 on bouquets for a wedding and they came to us wilted, broken, poorly wrapped together (see below pics). For the money we paid, this feels quite thoughtless and low effort. To make things worse I have tried calling them several times (during their new weird business hours) and have left at least 1 message over a week ago. I haven't heard back at all.The pictures posted show how they looked (this is day we got them). Pretty much all flowers were browned and quite dead looking. We had multiple bulbs fall off from just being picked up. The last photo with the comparison is the flowers we ended up using that we bought from costco. It literally would have saved us hundreds to not support this small business.I would suggest you go elsewhere for your flowers.*Edit - I was able to get a hold of the shop. Part of this is a small misunderstanding but I think it is still fair to blame the shop for bad practices and just generally being a pain to work with.Our order included Bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. Fiance picked them up at 9am on a Saturday. Apparently the lighting in the shop is lacking and they looked fine in store but once we got home and saw them in normal lighting and when the bulbs fell off (not even an hour after handoff). This was the day before our wedding so we were deep in preparing as we did pretty much everything ourselves. My Fiance handled the flowers originally but asked me to handle getting the Bouquets fixed. Unfortunately, when the designer originally contacted my fiance, she used her personal number instead of the shop number, when I was told to handle it, I just went online and googled the shop for a number. So I never got a response from the shop phone since the store apparently closed at like 11 that day. Being pressed for time, we ended up just going to Costco like I mentioned above.I was really hoping we could work something out, like maybe a partial refund or something. They gave us an inferior product and didnt get back to any of my messages. I had to call 4 or 5 times to actually get someone on the phone.I think maybe in the future if you are giving out personal numbers, place it on a card with the order so its clear who to contact. Looking at other reviews this isn't the first time people haven't been able to get a hold of people at the shop after they were dissatisfied. I would think a business that deals with events would be a bit more on top of things (like everyone else we dealt with for our wedding).I moved the review up from 1 to 2 because part of this was not their fault but their handling of it afterward was definitely poor.

I really hate leaving negative reviews but…I ordered a bouquet for my wedding day last Friday. I met with them a week prior. The person I met with, actually pulled up a photo of a bouquet that I fell in love with. Spent a nice amount on it. When we picked it up…it was NOT anything like the pic they showed me. It looked more like a centerpiece arrangement than a bouquet.So on my actual wedding day I am calling them trying to somehow see what they can do. They did “fix” it. But it still was nothing like the picture. The designer I spoke with said that the other florist there didn’t show her the picture. Ok not my fault. Just felt like the experience I got for the meeting was nothing like the experience I got for the actual arrangement. The pic on the left is what THEY SHOWED ME. The pic on the right is the bouquet when I first picked it up. Just beware and maybe meet with the designer too.**Responding to the owner**I was kind of left with no choice hours before the wedding to accept the changes. I’m not sure the correct description was “happiness” in my voice…But thanks it was a great day regardless

This picture is the smile on the face of my girlfriend because I purchased a dozen of wonderful Roses from this shop. I have done business with the shop for years she is very reasonable price please don’t listen to the lies told by this haters comments. She is very helpful and professional if she doesn’t have something that your looking for she goes out of her way to accommodate you. I good Christine woman a decent hard working young lady.

Dear owners, in response to your reply on the review regarding the brides bouquet from her 9/10/21 wedding…HAPPINESS IN THE BRIDES VOICE!?!? I believe you have the sound of an upset bride who’s trying to rectify a horrific situation 2 hours before she walks down the isle while also trying to hold back an angry mob of 11 furious bridesmaids, a sister in law, mother of the bride and even the makeup artist from coming with pitchforks and torches very confused with the sound of “happiness” ma’am.Your “quick fix” bouquet wasn’t worth half of what you charged her! I would give negative stars if I could!!

Very professional and wonderful customer service!!I left a message and was called back within the hour, Melissa was very friendly and upbeat! She helped me with my order, took payment, and confirmed my flowers would be ready for pick up on the day of our event!!!Prom!!! I can wait to post the pictures!!!Thanks to Melissa and Meghan!!!
