Terrible, I got my passports today and unfortunately they are Wet, USPS had to trained there drivers how to drop off customers packages in A SAFE place not directly to Rain or not safe to drop off, Honestly that’s So bad

Been using this location to send my boyfriend mail in basic training. I’ve sent 2 packages. First time the clerk said they changed the address and need to override it so it gets to its location. Second time send a package I verify with a different clerk if everything is good address wise. Yeah clearly not. It’s been 10 days and my package keeps getting jerked around between PA and NC not getting to the destination. Triple check. And don’t trust people to get things taken care of.

The staff at this post office are wonderful. Rachel is an awesome and friendly mail carrier and visiting the front desk is always a pleasure! Asher, Caleb, and Lexi especially make our post office great.

We had an appointment scheduled several weeks in advance to apply for a passport. When we showed up for the appointment we were informed that all passport appointments for the day had been cancelled with no explanation. They had our contact information but no one called to tell us that the appointment was canceled. We talked to a manager who offered no explanation and who wasn't even able to reschedule the appointment. There is no way to call the post office locally to confirm an appointment or to check in advance if a person is evem there to do the passport application on the days they are supposed to have a 'walk in" hour. The service is a joke and it's not just at the Carlisle branch.

They would not let me get a PO Box because I get them free on base however I was willing to pay to have a PO Box at this location because I prefer off base. I was turned away quickly the representative did not try to help at all. Extremely rude and knowledgeable. I will be requesting a refund online.

These people do Not answer the phones at ALL. They have located my package and have not called me back to confirm the new tracking number. This place needs a new set of staff like yesterday, no wonder they have a 2.4 star rating.

I just saw one of there employees who delivers packages in avan rob a home of there mail package. He was not in any uniform just in the company logo van. He pretended to deliver the package then turned around and left I had the same thing happen to me last week filed a complaint it went to Pittsburgh office then they sent to me my Carlisle post office. Whe. They called they told me they will redeliver the package . But that never came. Last time I use the post office for anything but regular mail that never on time

I recommend saving yourself some time and driving to Plainfield to deal with a much better post office.

I gave them one star only because zero was not an option. I called the local office 12 times in one day and listened to the automated voice tell me that someone would be with me shortly only to have the phone ring for several minutes before a busy signal came on and my call was ended. I would understand if this happened during a busy time such as the holidays but it was not. I also called the main number twice, the first person suggested I call the local office and the second person lied and told me the package is been waiting on would 100% be dropped off in the mailbox that day with the rest of the mail. The package, which was VERY valuable, was not delivered on time due to “inaccessibility” which I had been informed of at the very end of the day and which had never been an issue that occurred at my home before. I thought it may be because of the snow that fell the day before but our road and driveway were both cleaned long before any mail went out that day. It seems like the driver took a shortcut and now I am the only one paying for it. This is the very worst service I have ever received ANYWHERE.

Terrible. We got a PO Box here and have had at least 5 pieces of mail on our Informed Delivery never get put in the box. On top of that, we are constantly getting the wrong mail, and the addresses on these wrong mailpieces are nowhere close to our PO Box! I've talked to a clerk multiple times and they just blame Harrisburg for losing mail. But my mail at home comes from Harrisburg, and I have had 0 issues with them or my Informed Delivery. Something fishy is going on here.
