My lady friend made an appointment for state inspection in December 2023.. inspection resulted in needing 2 lower ball joints along with other things . The total estimate was a bit over 2k, which didn’t include a windshield that was also required for inspection completion's. The work was authorized and repairs were made before estimated completion time.. when the truck was picked up and service bill payed my lady friend left and was not 5 miles down the road and had to turn around and head back to Steve’s repair… the truck had a very violent shimmy in the steering. When my Lady friend explained the concern of the unsafe steering the Owner Steve . He told my lady friend that he doesn’t do alignments… be doesn’t have an alignment rack. (Are you freaking kidding me!!!). The ownership is concerned with one thing and only one thing.. moving money from your control to his without any concern the safety of his customers…. We had to take the truck to M r Tire across town and spent an additional 135 bucks… the technician said that the alignment was way outside the safe zone. Steve’s Repair Shop is not a dependable repair shop.

Never will any of my cars go to this shop, wouldn’t pass my inspection because of a crack on the windshield .. ??what crack??? And I get the car back come to find out he broke my door handle when I called to ask what happened they said we don’t know we didn’t do it!! SO NOT ONLY ARE THEY LYING TI CUSTOMERS BUT ALSO DAMAGING THEIR CARS AND THEN NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY! This place needs to shut down where is BBB when you need them

One of the best mechanics I've visited. They've done a fantastic job of inspecting and repairing my car multiple times. They also don't try to cheat me out of money like a lot of mechanics do. My car is ancient, and Steve has advised on what things should be fixed for my uses of the car, and which things will probably cost more than the car is even worth. Their prices are fair. They are friendly. And they do honest work.

"fixed" our belt about a week ago. it popped off, which almost caused an accident. it also made my husband late for work. and they tried to blame us for it and wouldn't honor their repair and re fix it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was staying in Pennsylvania for a birthday and my CV joint went out, I called around and Steaves was able to fit me in. He not only arranged his schedule for me but also was able to find the root of the problem and fix that as well. He worked quickly so I could get on the road and the price was very fair.

So I don’t think there are to many places like Steves. I needed to get my cars inspected and Steve had my back . I made an appointment and then forgot and they called to make sure things were good . They are very accommodating and kind . They are also am honest group which is rare in their industry . They remind me of the shop I used back home ; I’ve found a new mechanic for my cars needs . I hope you’ll try them ;you will be impressed

While traveling from out of town, we experienced an issue with our car. Steve quickly inspected our vehicle and determined what the issue was. After he explained the problem and solution to us, they fixed the problem so that we could continue our trip with confidence that our vehicle was safe for travel.Both Steve and the mechanic were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend their service.

Great service, owner is very friendly! I called in the morning to see if I could get my car inspected. Originally the next available date wasn’t till the end of the week, which would’ve been close to the time frame of when the car should be inspected by. I told the owner that it was a brand new electric car and needed to be inspected within 10 days since purchased and he was extremely kind to squeezed me in the day of to get it inspected! Super grateful that he was able to accommodate me in their busy schedule!

I’ve taken my vehicles to Steve over a dozen times and he always gets the job done right with fair pricing. He always answers the phone right away. Strongly recommend this honest mechanic.
