This store is terrible. Just got home from shopping and half the stuff we purchased is expired! I didn't think to check the date at the store as it's THEIR job to make sure the food is safe and fresh. The sour cream expired in September and the chopped almonds in August. They have plenty of employees walking around gossiping and complaining. You would think someone would be cleaning the shelves.

Picked up a veggies tray today and it REEKS! Opened the seal on it and the broccoli smelled like low tide! No rot, but it smelled so bad, it contaminated everything else in the tray. Tomatoes, celery, carrots, sugar snap peas - all smell and taste of funky broccoli. I have purchased trays like this before and this is a first. ??

I went online to do a pick up order today only to get a message that my account wasn't active and to call customer service. So I did. they told me that I owed some sort of money to giant direct and that it was from an order in October. I asked how much and what was it for. The customer service lady said she couldn't tell me any details and that I have to be put on a call back list from the finance department that will take 24 to 48 hours. That's ridiculous because I use an EBT card and no one ever reached out to me to notify me and they let me get my groceries and drive away. If I owed something why wasn't I notified. Also, why couldn't I talk to someone today and why so secretive? I filed a complaint with the BBB and I will be talking to an attorney. This was by far one of the most inconvenient and horrible customer service experiences I have ever had. No help from anyone. My receipt states the full order was paid for. I am very disappointed and will no longer be using Giant for groceries. Something is not right with this business.

I’m a long time regular customer at store #6005, Carlisle pike. I have been tolerant of the ongoing reorganization and the in-store relocations of stock. Even when stock items have been moved two, three, and more times. I have tried to ignore the reduction in name brand items in favor of Giant brands. I am continually irritated by items I buy not being re-stocked. Overall recent shopping trips have not been pleasant.

I love this particular branch. Usually. Today I was disappointment to see that some customers think they are geniuses by sneaking in while wearing a mask or face covering and then immediately taking it off when they are inside. I tried to warn the staff but they were largely unconcerned. I could not finish my purchase and likely will avoid shopping here in the future.

There were several customers shopping who were not wearing masks or following social distancing guidelines. There was also an employee who was not wearing a mask properly and has his nose exposed. I informed several employees of the store that there were customers not wearing masks and no action was taken. It does nothing to create guidelines if you’re not going to enforce them. Please take this seriously. The pandemic is growing. People are dying. Do better.

Huge selection of organic produce and other products. Store is laid out well. Usually has a good variety of brands for several products.
