My co-driver and I stopped to fuel and get a quick bite at Denny’s. Fueling was uneventful as always. We walked in to Denny’s and were seated. After we were seated at the table, we noticed one person working the tables. She seemed more interested in telling her life story to some customers at another table. She never once acknowledged us at the next table. After we waited a reasonable amount of time (almost 10 minutes) we decided to leave. No one ever said a word to us.Still hungry, we approached the deli at flying J as two employees were stocking/cleaning and busy talking to each other. We were once again ignored. We are regular fueling customers, we’ll eat elsewhere.

One, constantly congested entrance off Harrisburg Pike. Insufficient space for tractors waiting to fuel causing inbound, outbound truck traffic conflict. Congested, nearly impassable space to navigate through to get to CNG fuel area. No tractor windshield wash equipment, no trash cans. Flying J mgmt. indifferent to proper yard, traffic mgmt. and parking restrictions.

The utmost worse staff and management I've ever seen at a Flying J. Got my ticket to shower. When I stepped into the shower, there was a wad of hair in the shower drain, and a snot loogie with BLOOD in it - still in the shower . Showed the managers (10:30pm) and they said they have been swamped and it was an oversight. Like what?!?? An 'oversight'???!!!While checking out at register and informed the cashier about the shower and she stated 'it does not involve me, and I don't really care' we're her exact words....Flying J needs to do something about the management and staff at this Carlisle PA location

We stay over here often. Great staff and it is clean 95% of the time.

Absolutely do not recommend a shower here!! The parking lot has trash all through it, the showers are nasty.. My shower hadn’t been cleaned, the garbage can was full, the toilet was nasty and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned/swept in a long time, not to mention the stink bug in the floor? Store really needs new management!!!

Coffee station was filthy! 5 ladies behind the counter but still slow as can be. The one with the name tag of "BigSis" was obviously there just to play on the PA system. She had plenty of time to threaten truck drivers with having them towed away, but no time to walk her butt over to the coffee area and clean the counter or empty the trash. We've been parked here for two nights and we've heard her shrieking over the PA system, most of the time. Use that same energy to keep the store clean and lines moving, BigSis!

I was on my way to biking the nearby LeTort Spring Natural Trail but stopped here first for a slice of pizza. Somehow the young lady cashier didn't like me very much. When it was my turn, she stepped away from the cash register and went to the hot food section. From there she greeted and took order from the gentleman behind me. Not sure if they knew each other, but I realized she had just skipped me. The manager seemed to have made the same observation and exchanged glance with me. I just shrugged my shoulders. The manger came and asked what I needed then instructed the young lady to ring me up. I wanted a drink to go with the slice of pizza, so she told me to get it at the fountain machine but without ringing me up. When I came back of course now there were 2 new customers in front of me. I felt very frustrated that she literally gave me a runaround. The other cashier's on the other side saw me and flagged me over to his cash register and rang me up. The extra star is for him! Thank you!! This facility was clean and the pizza was good, but the service I received from the first cashier was unacceptable. PS. This was not my first visit, but it's still confusing to me what each cashier register is for, or if there's is a difference.

Bathrooms and Showers are clean. Not a long wait for showers, even on a holiday weekend when everyone came to a grinding halt. Lots of snacks/food to choose from. Staff is friendly.

Beware!!!! Price gouging here. On Friday, March 20, 2020, they charged me $19.99 for a case of water. Obviously they want to cash in while our country is in a national crisis. Shame on you, Flying J. This is how you treat us truckers???
