Super nice people working there but extremely slow. It can take 24-48 hours just to offload one trailer, get your order onto another and get it moving again.

Dangerous and inconsiderate drivers who don't follow the laws on the road. I didn't get a good look at the truck number but it looked like 11199. That idiot was driving in the left lane through a tunnel that says no trucks in left lane.

At the moment I'd rate ABF a 3-Star. The lanes between the Mississippi River and Maine are congested and the loads are way behind the promised schedule. On top of late loads the company bills for lots of made-up Adjustments that need to be disputed like "Limited Access" where the site has good access and "Liftgate Service" where no lift gate was requested or used. The adjustments are inconsistent with different loads having different made-up adjustments. Billing disputes take time and the hassle of working with ABF is costly. After considerable effort, I'm told that the 'adjustments' are going to be fixed. My loads seem to get held-up in Carlisle due to weather which is BS. I know a thing or two about the weather in and around Carlisle because my daughter is a freshman at Dickinson College. Carlisle is a lovely town! The Maine team at the local depot are responsive and helpful.

The easiest place to deliver too. The office guy that did the paperwork was on point. Can’t wait to get a load back here again.

My bf applied at this company twice, offered a position both times but each time was deterred by the extra board and being over the road with young children but has always respected the company. Driving over 3 years, over 500k mi and not one accident (thx god). Finally, in a position to drive for what we thought was a good company, now they wont consider him because he respectfully turned down the position twice. well that says alot! you’re just a number with these freight companies!!!! I have two family members in driving school, ABF will never be an option!! This is why they’re always hiring and need to offer $10k just to get people to work for them!!!

Stopped by about employment. I was clearly not sure where to go and several people offered assistance and spent quite a while answering my questions about available positions.

One of the worst freight companies, don't deliver on time, keep rescheduling, they tend to lose track of shipments. If you are getting merchandise from somewhere, make sure if you have a choice, chose another company
