I scheduled an appointment for my passport application here online and while I was looking forward to completing this final step so that I could receive my first passport, I was also admittedly a little anxious since I wasn’t quite sure what exactly to expect.
However, the two employees that assisted me were so nice, knowledgeable and personable that they completely put me at ease and I was in and out of their office in less than 15 minutes flat. I even found out only after I arrived that I forgot to bring just one document with me but they were able to quickly resolve the issue and helped me include it with my other correspondence before they sent my passport to the DOS so they went out of their way to ensure that it was done right.
They told me that the general timeframe would be around 6-8 weeks to receive my passport and then eventually my birth certificate back 1-2 weeks later from there as well, although they added that it probably wouldn’t take that long in either case and they turned out to be correct. I got my passport only about one month to the day that I made the appointment and then my birth certificate in the mail just a week or two later like I was told would probably happen!
I really wish I could remember either of their names because they both did a great job and made the whole experience so easy for me from start to finish. Would highly recommend scheduling a passport appointment here because they really know what they’re doing!

I've been using this Post Office for the past five years (including one time for passport) and always had great experience even though the crew has seemingly changed a few times.Employees are always courteous, friendly and patient, lines are taken care of quickly and store section is always well stocked with boxes and packing materials. That's exactly what one would expect walking into Postal Office and this one certainly delivers (pun intended).Looking at negative reviews, a lot of them seemingly reflect general USPS related issues and don't do proper justice for this office specifically, they are doing a great job.

My family went (to the McMurray PA location) to get our passports. The process was a bit overwhelming with paperwork but Porsha was so incredibly patient and kind and guided us through the process with a smile. We really appreciated her today. ?

I never thought I'd be leaving a review for a post office... They definitely deserve these five stars.We took my son to get his passport renewed. The woman who was helping us ran into a glitch with the payment. While she seemed willing to wait to see if the system would reboot, I suggested trying again and figuring it out later if needed because I was eager to get back home.The next week, I realized that both payments had indeed gone through. I got my paper trail together. I was ready to make my case. When I called, she knew my name right away because she had made a note and just didn't have a number to call me at. She asked me to come in with my ID and she could give me a cash refund. And it was as easy as that when I went back. Great service.

Close to closing time. Three people working so the line is moving fast. They are friendly too. Nice to see that during their busiest season, they run a smooth office.

a couple of months ago I no longer needed the PO box, so I retruned key to PO filid out papers to once again my mail to continue to my home address and still the PO contacts my vendors with the PObox number I phoned the PO of Venetia pa and they assured me they will fix the problem but still a few months later and problem still exists.

It's day to day. You never know how busy it's gonna be & with the larger ones that have larger staffs, you never know what kind of mood the employee who helps you is gonna be in. Just my opinion...

Horrible service. They have lost THREE packages of mine in the last month. I have called so many times I have lost count, and I have submitted two lost package claims. My packages have never been found. How convenient, and right before Christmas, too. This postal carrier sucks. How do you lose three packages in a month? Amazon never has this issue.

Perpetually understaffed, not uncommon to have 6 or more people in line. They should tune that wall monitor to a TV channel to ease the long wait. Some people go to the P.O. in nearby Lawrence, Pa instead.
