I returned a part for a refund They said all refunds are by paper check and only after 10 days I called them after 18 days have passed and the parts manager said they cant reimburse me because there printer is broken and they cant print checks. If this dealership cant figure out how to pay back 376 dollars i feel it needs posted on yelp and social media TY. I finally got refunded a check after the head cashier claimed a check got lost in the mail before the man told me the printer broke. I drove to the dealership and picked up a check the next day. Ty

The days of a salesman knowing what vehicles are on their lot and coming out to help a customer are apparently dead and gone. My wife and I went to look at a Tacoma and after walking the lot which granted had very few cars on the lot but most of them were Tacomas. We went inside and found someone to talk too. I asked the salesman if I could test drive a Tacoma and he seemed very annoyed by my request. He tried to find a Tacoma on lot and apparently every one that we saw was sold and he could show us the inside but not much more then that. To say that I left annoyed is an understatement and if you want to learn how not to sell a vehicle take pointers from this salesman.

From my initial purchase though inspections, routine maintenance, tire replacement and repair, South Hills Toyota has been there for me every step of the way. This dealership has treated me with so much kindness through it all and that's why I keep returning. Today I'm here for a tire repair after I ran over a bolt in my work parking lot! Thanks for getting me in once again.

I took my 2022 Sienna in for service after multiply times with a dead battery. They called after one week said they could not find a problem and to come pick up van. The service manager told me that if they don't find a problem to fix they don't get paid, so they could not afford to spend anymore time on my van. The morning I was to pick it up the battery was dead . After another week they claimed I had a defective battery, they replaced the battery saying problem fixed. Three weeks later battery dead again car towed back to dealership .. once again they said sorry cant find the problem come pick up your van and we need our loaner car returned!!!! Again service manager claims if he cant find the problem he can't fix it !!!! WOW!!! To be continued....

I have been bringing my car to south hills Toyota since we purchased it in 2017. I have always had to top the fluids off after each scheduled maintenance, but I was just not sure if it was me or them. This time I went right home and checked the washer fluid, it needed 3/4 of a gallon to fill. They obviously did not top it off despite saying they did. Then I noticed the tire with no valve stem cap was still in the same place. I was charged for a tire rotation, but it was obviously not done. I was told I should get $1000 worth of tires, but they did not even rotate them? (The tires have plenty of life on them, I used to work at a tire shop). I am never bringing my car back there for anything mechanical, they just cannot be trusted. Which is a shame, we have bought several cars from them over the years, but service is not their strength. In fact, I have never been this disappointed with something as simple as a routine oil change and check up, how can anyone mess that up? Oh yeah, by not doing it!

I purchased two new vehicles from south hills Toyota totaling over $100k last June. The salesman and finance team were fantastic. The truck that I bought started making a strange noise a few months ago. I took it into service to be checked out and they told me I had a bad strut. This is unfortunate considering the truck has just over 10k miles, but whatever. They told me that they would have to wait on the part and they didn't have any loaner vehicles. They put my truck back together with the broken part and I picked it up and drove it for a few days until the part came in. I drove back to the dealership and dropped it back off after they told me the part had arrived. Again, no loaner vehicle was available. I left my wife and child at home without a vehicle the next day so I could make it to work. I get a call that day that they received the wrong part from Toyota and that it would be an additional 3 days to wait. Again they said "sorry, no loaners are available". I drove back to the dealership and picked up my truck again so I wouldn't have to leave my wife without her car again. They called me the next morning and told me that the part had arrived. At this point I'm extremely aggravated because I could have just left my truck there had I known the part would be there within 12 hours! I drop my truck off again last night so they would have it first thing this morning to install the new strut. And to my amazement they gave me a loaner. After I finished at work, I went to pick it up. I signed the paperwork and every thing in the world was great.... I went across the street to a gas station to get a drink. I decided to look in the wheel well and to my amazement, they hadn't even tightened the nuts that hold the strut in. I spin them with my fingers! Obviously I went back to the dealership and received a "sorry bout that". They took the truck back into the garage and finished the job. The service department at south hills Toyota is terrible. That's it.

You have to give these people a try. My wife and I felt we were never pushed by Sylvester Terkay. He was a great sales person for us.

I brought my brand new Toyota Venza here because after 3 months it was leaking water on the passenger side carpet. They not only didn't diagnose the problem (when I picked my car up the carpet was soaking wet) they attempted to charge me some bogus fee for draining water out of my AC.. and then offered to set up an appointment for a water doctor who charges over $100 per hour. to make the whole experience even better, they closed without calling me to pick up my car. when they checked the call logs. I was right that they never called me. I would never go back here. I took my car to another Toyota and they were able to diagnose my issue, fix it and realized It was a car issue under warranty while letting me use a loaner for 3 days. South Hklms Toyota told me that Toyota doesn't do loaner cars. Take your car somewhere else.

Neil was PHENOMENAL! As a mom with 2 young boys, car shopping was awful. Then Neil contacted me and was able to do everything online/by phone. He beat trade in offers from other dealers (who made me bring my vehicle in) by $1,000s. When my van finally came in, he had everything ready so my boys were not stuck there forever. I kept waiting for a catch but it was genuinely just an amazing, efficient, and straight forward car buying experience. I cannot recommend them enough!

Pleasant experience at this dealership. There was no pressure and the deal we received was fair. I would certainly recommend this dealership to family and friends.

The finance persons are not to be trusted, they kept trying to fid the worse finance deals possible. I walked out and they called me back after a day or two and a deal was finally completed/

We just bought a RAV4 from South Hills Toyota and I have to say the buying experience was unlike any other. We dealt with Mike M. and Dan, they made the process simple, quick, and fun! I'd highly recommend buying a car from South Hills Toyota

I took my 2019 4Runner with 10k miles in for a routine oil change and due to a "faulty O-ring", just about all the oil drained from the tank. Now my driveway is covered, the engine started ticking and the oil light came on. After multiple attempts to have the dealer resolve this, they're insisting that the engine is fine. They have also previously been untrustworthy with write ups on my service orders that it was washed (when it clearly wasn't), a service writer told me my questions were "out of his pay grade" and I have left messages for Service Writers and the Service Director, to never have my calls returned. I chose Toyota for a lengthy commute to work and toting around an 18 month old. Not having to invest an exorbitant amount of time on making sure they "do right by me".

I just brought my 4Runner to PA from AZ and wanted to have oil & filter changed by an authorized dealer. I read reviews and honestly all the Pittsburgh-based dealerships had some really negative ones including some re South Hills Toyota. After not being sold on any of the dealerships, I picked South Hills Toyota since they were closest and despite my concerns. I received a very pleasant response on the phone from Paul who entered me into the system and who advised me of the "Toyota Express" feature where small tasks like oil changes, tires rotation, etc. could be easily and quickly performed. Not only that, but he was able to schedule me in the next day which was a really pleasant surprise. Upon entering the service bay, I was greeted by a very friendly, clean cut and helpful young man and was directed to the desk of Chris Gural, Assistant Service Mgr. Chris too was friendly and informed me that the work would take about 1 hour to perform. I sat in the lounge using the complimentary WiFi and did some computer work. Guess what? The car was ready in an hour with a free multi-point inspection and car wash included! Last, the cashier was very friendly too and perky. I like dealing with enthusiastic people... Great job everyone and keep up the good work! I will return for service and possibly even purchase another Toyota at your dealership if this positive customer service continues :-). Last, I have learned not to take negative reviews so seriously.
