In the past, when it was Sternbergers, I purchased almost all my paint from this store. Since it became a PPG products distributor, I find the customer service poor with an attitude of "We couldn't care less." Today I brought in an old gallon of PPG stain with the intention of purchasing 5 more gallons of the same tint. It was quickly pointed out to me that the "Sunproof" product has been replaced with a new product named "Flood" and most likely they wouldn't be able to match the older tint even though the original formula is recorded on the lid of the gallon I brought in. Little or no effort was made to help me or cross reference the tint. Fortunately the Home Depot was anxious to help and work with me to match the tint. So, now we know why the Big Box Stores are driving the smaller stores out of business. It's know as customer service!
