This is our second year going to HR Block to help with our taxes. This year we had Kate Flanagan as our expert and she truly is that. I went around 2023 to discover a career. That meant I had a lot of W2s for her. We spent time reviewing everything and she had no issues with taking the time to explain things to us. We also bought a house and thought that would make things more complicated for our taxes, but it didn’t! At the end of the tax session we went to pay and their computer was down to take payment. Kate emailed me at 10 walking me through the steps to pay online. We really enjoyed working with her and hope we have her again next year!

Says walk in welcome. They are not. Then said they are completely booked. Call another one and got appt for next day. Second the web site says opens early. They do not open til 10. Lady was very snobby at desk.

This McMurray branch filed my return incorrectly which resulted in the state of PA charging me nearly $3k. The appeal is ongoing, and H&R block McMurray is doing very little to help. The owner also refuses to answer any of my emails and is very unprofessional.

Rick was easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about the questions that I had with my taxes. I recently retired and started to draw out of my 401K. Some of the questions on the taxes were a little difficult for me to understand so I thought it would be worth coming to H&R Block for assistance. It was the right decision.

The price of getting my taxes done #1 the price seems to go up every year.#2 My taxes were easy to prepare and I think the price good be lower however my preparer did apply a coupon.

Jim Bees is the best at finding deductions you may not have known about, but also tells you which ones you cannot use. I cannot recommend strongly enough!
