I don't know what's happened lately but I've used them for pcb protype deliveries from a pcb service in China and over the summer things changed big time with their deliveries. I can count on all the packages to take longer to get from the Pittsburgh sorting facility to my house than it takes to get from China to Pittsburgh! It's kinda wild. There seems to always be a delay once it hit this sorting facility.

I received notification that was package was delivered either at or in mailbox & it wasn't there...the nerve that this company doesn't have 24hr customer service hours for incidences like this...

Hello. I’d like to complain that I was waiting to receive an important document from my family, from India. This was an international courier and the courier delivery person came to my place and did not knock at all. They just hanged their note on the main door of the house saying that no one was there, which was not true. I was in the house. I was tracking it carefully on the map too and went running out to catch the delivery person but I was a few seconds late I guess.
This is completely unprofessional.
This was an important document and I trusted DHL with their delivery services! I needed the document asap and international delivery itself took 5 days.

I had two packages arrive to the Pittsburgh DHL hub and then either get loaded for delivery and not actually delivered or just put into "Shipment is on hold" status for multiple days.
Both packages literally took less time to get from overseas to Pittsburgh DHL than to get from Pittsburgh DHL to my door.
It is also impossible to be available for signatures when the planned delivery date is inaccurate and no revised estimates are provided.

This is the worst DHL service I have experienced, and I have used it worldwide. I was notified my package would be delivered on Friday, but instead it was taken back to the distribution center at 8:30pm and at 9:30 pm it was marked as not being able to deliver. No attempt was made to deliver. There is no customer service online or by phone and there are no deliveries over the weekend.
Today, Monday, I was notified at 3:30pm that my package was 4 stops away. It is now 10pm and my package is back at the distribution center. I have multiple screenshots from the last 6.5 hours showing timestamps and neighborhoods that they made no attempt to deliver. And again, I cannot contact anyone as there is no human customer service.
*EDIT* I went directly to the distribution center to pick up my package.
However, another package was being delivered today and AGAIN it was taken back to the distribution center after I waited at home for 8 hours for it. This service is appalling.

Package was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but it was not. "Delivery attempt could not be completed." Today I got a delivery link so I could track my delivery. All day I watched the delivery van drive all around my neighborhood getting within 0.5 miles from my home several times. Then, the van returned to the express service point at the end of the day. "Delivery attempt could not be completed." Why? You were so close? Maybe tomorrow will be the actual delivery.
... then again, maybe not.

This facilty is horrendous! They are always late with packages. The website says one date, but it's always late and they always want you to drive there to pick up, aka do their job.

I had a package scheduled for delivery tomorrow but tracking showed that it had already arrived at the Pittsburgh hub this early AM. So I thought & had hoped that maybe my delivery date would be moved up since it’s already here in Pittsburgh. NOPE, my package status changed to “ON HOLD” because most likely it was scheduled for tomorrow’s delivery. I wanted this package today so I called the 1-800 number to see if I can pick up my package today when it was scheduled for delivery tomorrow, the rep said she’ll need to submit a “pick up request” and that “request” will need 24 hours to update. I told her since my package was already scheduled for delivery tomorrow, why would I have her submit a pick up request now that will take 24 hours? Then I asked what if I just showed up to the Pittsburgh hub in person unannounced, would I be able to pick up my package then? The rep said “I don’t know, it will be up to the hub! No guarantees.” So I took the chance and drove 45 minutes there to the Pittsburgh hub. The young lady that worked at the help front counter, took my tracking number and said “yup, you can get it today!” Took her a while to find my package but I was OK waiting & happy that I was able to get my package today. The 3-star is for that young lady who helped me.

You delivered a package of mine. Must have thrown it all over the truck. It was shelajit and it came in a jar , lid off and everywhere. Ants all through my mailbox! Horrible service

I literally saw the DHL driver park in front of my apartment and went outside to sign for the package, about a minute. When I got to my door, the driver was departing and left me a "sorry we missed you" tag. No doorbell rings, nothing. They parked, left the tag and drove away.
DHL sucks. This is the second time they did this.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY (DHL EXPRESS) for a delivery. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They were to deliver my package Friday, April 12. I received a text saying nobody was home. They could not leave the package. I called customer service and that was a nightmare to get to a real life person who you thought might be able to help you. Not so. they assured me they would have the package resent to my home by that evening. It never came. on Monday, I was home waiting for the package to be delivered. I asked the customer service person on Friday to have it delivered to my garage door at the end of my driveway. On Monday, the package gets delivered to my front door, but they said nobody was home so they left a sticker on my door, telling me I needed to leave a signature and call and reschedule the delivery. I called and went through the nightmare again with Customer Service for at least a good half hour to 45 minutes to get a real human being and then they couldn’t help me. I asked to speak to the local dispatcher and they said they couldn’t give out that number. The customer service people can’t talk to the driver to communicate with them to see where they are in their route and if they can go back and deliver the package, they said they couldn’t deliver. It is two days later, waiting all day for a package that I have yet to receive. If it does not come by tomorrow, I’m going to cancel my package delivery and select another carrier such as FedEx or UPS which provide much more reliable service and better customer service. Do not ever try to do business with DHL. They are the worst company ever!!!

My delivery was a purchase for a business it was classified as a residence,(error 1) I could not get any assistance from chat bot (error 2)so I called in, which was not much more help. I could not be told when my delivery is coming (error 3) and my business closes at 5 pm on 1-19-24 Friday. The nearest service center to pick up my package is 43 miles away, ridiculous. I need this package for a customer and now they have to wait even longer to receive it (packaged ordered 1-2-24 China and had delivery window of 1-10-24 thru 1-20-24) shipped since I can wait till who knows how long after business hours my package is going to be delivered on a Friday because the service team has no clue. It should not be so difficult to obtain information. DO NOT recommend DHL
