My husband and I were visiting Pittsburgh last week and decided to go antiquing. The Antique Center of Strasbane is one of the best, genuine antique stores we have visited. If you are interested in true antiques and primitives, you know that those items are more expensive and for the reason of preserving historic items. If you are interested in cheap "antiques" then you need to visit your local thrift store. We loved Antique Center of Strasbane and had no problem paying the higher price knowing we were getting actual antiques and primitives.

Grossly overpriced. Honestly appalling the way they price gouge. You are better off going to vintage secretes antique mall down the street or the city mission thrift. Yes the pieces are in great condition but the prices are borderline offensive. Other places have same level of quality for much more reasonable prices. Do not recommend.

Some quality stuff, but wildly overpriced. You'll even see items that have been sitting around for literal years getting price increases so figure that one out.

I love this antique store, lots of good stuff to look through. My favorite time to visit is before Christmas, lots of vendors here sell the antique bulbs which is something I hunt for year round. Prices are a little higher than other nearby places, but if you know what you're looking for and the value of it, this is a great place to find treasure. Staff are always very kind and accommodating.

I visit this store monthly to see what new treasures have arrived. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. You can find items of all different varieties and price points. This is a great place to find something unusual. I have never been disappointed by a visit!

I am an antique enthusiast and travel across the country looking for treasures. I walked into this nice and quaint antique shop full of hope. I walked to the first display and was immediately moved out of it by a rude customer. No big deal, I kept looking elsewhere in the store. It began to remind me more and more of a museum/Hallmark store hybrid. The prices were very much inflated but I expected that. Sadly, the staff were pretentious, egotistical and cold as others have mentioned. Specifically the owner who disputes every bad review with blatant denial. A very dry and unwelcoming atmosphere at the Antique Center of Strabane will result in my permanent absence from this location. If you haven’t visited yet, you would do well to cross it off your list.

Nice shop. Pricey.Found a few things in a short amount of time, but did not purchase as I asked to use the rest room and was told to go to the bakery a few stores away.No thanks. Supply your own restroom to YOUR customers. Just wrong to tell someone to go to another establishment to use THEIR restroom. We won't be back.
