We were there for my Husband’s birthday, and tbh reviews dont do justice to this place. This b&b is home away from home all cause of Mark’s dedication towards his profession. Kid friendly and welcoming. We definitely will be back. All the best wishes for Mark & Carol, they are doing a fabulous job. Ps, Steak and Butter burger are must have.

High quality B&B in a relatively remote location. Within a reasonable drive to multiple destinations. Clean, updated property.
Rooms: Spacious, clean and comfortable
Walkability: Not a walkable area beyond the property

Magical. Beautiful. Spectacular. These are just a few of the adjectives that describe the amazing ambiance and kind, thoughtful details that the owners have put into making this establishment a one-of-a-kind stay. My only regret is not staying longer. Carol and her family clearly put a lot of love, thought and talent into making sure their guests feel welcome in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were lucky enough to book a room at the very last minute (they had just one room left!) and it was one of the best decisions ever. Carol could not have been warmer or more helpful, the food could not have been any more delicious and “the waitress” (AKA Carol’s amazing mother-in-law) could not have been more delightful. Just trust me - book your stay and thank me later. I can’t wait to go back.
Food and drinks: Amazingly delicious! My son says it was the best steak dinner he’s ever had! Breakfast was also simply divine.

There's so much to be said about the Frogtown Inn. To sum it up succinctly, EVERYTHING was fantastic. The owners Mark and Carol were more than accommodating, and they made us feel very welcome during our weekend getaway. The room was spotless and super cozy. We honestly got the best sleep ever as the beds were super comfortable. The included satellite TV service was a nice touch, as we were able to watch some good shows while unwinding from our day.
The included breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Everything was super fresh and it screamed top quality ingredients. I had gotten the special with truffle and asparagus with home fries and it was VERY good. My lady had scrambled eggs with sausage patties, home fries, the blueberry pancake and toast and she loved it as well.
That same night we had dinner in the restaurant named Butter, and it was such a treat. The menu is extensive enough to have a variety of options without being overbearing. Dinner was just as amazing as breakfast, and EVERYTHING we had was top tier. We got a Tokyo Mule, the Sidecar, The Margarita Flatbread, the Lobster Campanelle, the Horseradish Crusted Salmon, a Nutty Irish dessert cocktail and an Espresso Martini alongside a dessert (I can't remember which one we shared). We devoured absolutely everything we had. Portions were generous and the flavors were out of this world. Customer service on the restaurant side was also very good. Do note that dinner isn't included in your stay, but I HIGHLY recommend trying the restaurant.
Aside from all of the above, I can't overstate how good the customer service was here. Mark and Carol really made this place feel like a second home. The decor also gives that feeling, and it all culminates to being one of the best places I've ever stayed. Don't hesitate. Highly recommended!

Like many other reviewers have already said, the food was INCREDIBLE. Breakfast, which is included, features a good selection with really unique daily specials, in addition to the staples (pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc.). Also had dinner at their Butter restaurant, which offered a wide selection of drinks and was expectedly delicious. The dining area, lobby, and rooms have a really warm and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a weekend getaway. Friendly employees. Will stay here again if we come back to the Poconos.

I can’t say enough good things about this gem of a bed and breakfast. Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean, and they could not have been more accommodating. We will be back next year for the full weekend! Thanks Carol and Mark!

If you're coming to the Poconos, and you're looking for a charming bed & breakfast, this is the place! Carol's attention to detail and decorating are second to none, and Mark makes some of the best food you'll ever eat. This place is dog-friendly, and has a fantastic little stream behind the inn.
Frogtown feels like home away from home; waking up and walking downstairs to Mark's incredible breakfast, sitting in front of a fire and enjoying good conversation with Carol, and then finding yourself minutes away from excellent hiking is perfection.
If you're planning an event in the Poconos, I highly recommend staying at Frogtown. Carol knows everyone, and her wisdom and guidance in the lead up to my wedding was indispensable. I truly can't say enough good things about Frogtown! I stayed with my family there in the leadup to my wedding, and we had some unforgettable memories.
We also held our wedding rehearsal dinner and a post-wedding brunch at Butter, and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. Mark's cooking skills stay just as excellent with large crowds as well as more intimate dinners. Everyone invited to either the rehearsal dinner or the brunch was raving about the food, and we even had some of the pickiest eaters satisfied!

Carol was accommodating and friendly. We had a wonderful conversation on the Inn's cozy and inviting front porch after dinner.
Mark is an incredible chef and extremely personal. He made it a point to come to each table at each service. Carol spoke to every table as well. This created such a welcoming environment. The food was absolutely delicious. Truffle asparagus omelets and sweet and spicy shrimp. The dessert was Tres Leche cake with incredible cinnamon scrunchies made from scratch.
Our room was perfect, clean, and bed was comfortable. We slept very well.
We will be back and bring family and friends.
Food and drinks: Mark is a 5 start chef, does all.of his own cooking and everything was incredible.

Carol & Mark are the owners of this wonderful B&B in Canadensis. They are the perfect team and a delight to be around. My son got married at a nearby venue and we, along with the wedding party, stayed for a few nights at the Frogtown Inn. Not only were they the most gracious & considerate hosts, but Carol is the best event planner ever and Mark is a chef extraordinaire! We not only had the rehearsal dinner at the attached restaurant, Butter, but the after party as well. Carol's decorations, details & expertise made everything flow perfectly. Mark's cooking and menu planning were absolutely delicious. The complimentary breakfasts served are exceptional and cooked personally by Mark. I really can't say enough about the Inn or Carol & Mark. What I can say 100% though is that we will definitely go back and when we left, it felt like we were leaving family. I'm sure when we return we will be treated as such!XO

We attended a wedding in the Poconos the weekend of Oct. 21st. We did not stay at the Inn, but attended the wedding Welcome Reception on Friday night. I would have to say the venue is almost magical - the atmosphere and ambiance were very special and unique. The owners and employees went out of their way to make the evening very special. Drinks, and the outstanding french fry bar were huge hits! The wedding party had their rehearsal dinner here, and although I didn't attend the dinner - I heard many wonderful comments on the food.Easy location to find, plenty of parking.

We had the best stay at the Frogtown Inn for my best friend's wedding weekend! Everything was incredibly comfortable and the owner Carol makes everyone feel like family. The food was incredible - big kudos to the chef. I don't think they could've chosen a better place for everyone to stay. We highly recommend and hope to return when we're back in PA!
