Really helped me out last minute when the previous person made a mistake with the pants for the suit. They fixed them up, did other alterations for me and had it done by the date I needed them. Next time need to make sure to go 2 weeks out

Their business name, Kaplan’s Careful Cleaners, says it all, but they should add and so much more. Excellent alterations, shoe/handbag repair, and of course dry cleaning.

Dale was wonderful to work with! He and his team at Kaplan's were all great and did a wonderful job fixing some alteration/fit concerns that I had. I worked with Dale regarding my J.Hilburn suit as well, and he and the team did a great job getting the suit fit well to my frame. Place has really been backsliding over the years. Alterations are not carefully measured or executed. Shirts are very poorly pressed. General attitude of management is “take it or leave it.” Dale tries his best but his people, including his daughter, are letting him down.

Kaplan’s has repaired diaper bags and purses as well as hemmed jeans and repaired other clothing for me. I would recommend them to anyone. Great customer service!

We took our Mr. and Mrs. Claus costumes in to be dry cleaner and a snap added to the Santa costume. We heard how they use to have a big business in renting out Santa costumes and other seasonal costumes. Since they had experience, we felt safe in leaving ours. There were no stains, but with Covid we wanted them cleaned. They were in garment bags when we picked them up, so just paid, took them home and hung them up. A few weeks later we open them up and we're shocked to see how pink our fur was on both costumes! When we took it back to ask about it, we were told how much better it looked from their first cleaning and they had actually cleaned it three times to get the pink out! We weren't told it could happen, only about all the suits they had cleaned and rented! No apology or refund for cleaning. We replaced my husband's suit because we couldn't stand the pink and did my suit this year. Unfortunately my new dress, while it looks similar, is not as nice as my first one. $600 later we have non- pink suits! It was certainly an expensive cleaning - sigh.
