Hands down the best nursery in central PA. We always come here for all landscaping needs. All the staff is always attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable! Especially Mick, who cut his lunch short specifically to walk me around and help me find the right plants. It felt like a personal consultation! He was a wealth of knowledge and had some serious positive energy; very nice guy. I left in a great mood!!

I love Highland Gardens! It has so many varieties of plants, and everything you'd need for your garden, birds, and decor. Beautiful indoor shop as well as outdoor, so relaxing to walk through the plant areas. I always walk out with more than I went for, but my heart is full and my smile wide.

A slice of heaven! Even if you simply need a 6 pack of petunias, it's a terrific family outing, solitary walk, and everything in between. Absolutely gorgeous, well-stocked, wonderful staff.

I never have a bad experience here. Everyone is super knowledgeable, and if I ask a question that that particular person doesn't know the answer, they find someone that does. I've asked to have new plants potted and they've not only accommodated me, but found the person that Knows A Lot About Philodendrons to make sure the pots I chose were a good fit.
The entire staff is honestly incredible. I'm also incredibly partial to one of the managers, Jay, that has given me amazing deals on some of the rooted cuttings she's propagated.
They may be a little more expensive than box retailers and some other local nurseries, but their service, skills, and knowledge make it more than worth it.

I was contacted by staff who is knowledgeable and helpful and who has been working at this business for more years than imaginable. She was able to answer my questions about the plants I was searching for and was kind in her manner. Ask for Monica. F.Y.I. there is no white sage anywhere....I drove around looking. If anyone finds any live plants....please let me know.

A true fun happy place to buy plants, veggie stats, shrubs, seeds, mulch and most anything else for the yard or garden. It's quaint, cute, but professional and well organized. Great place!

Great local shop! Recently moved to the area and was looking for a local shop as opposed to a large chain garden center. I was SO PLEASED with everything there. Absolutely will be coming here for all of my house plant and garden needs! Everything was lovely and very reasonably priced compared to some larger stores.
