We have taken our dog to a few other facilities due to frequent moves related to jobs, and we will never be taking our dog back to Greenlin. It is shocking the way the staff not only treats the animals in their care, but the pet parents as well. The staff is rude, disorganized, and makes you feel as though you are an inconvenience every time you walk through the door. Aside from this, the facility is filthy, and my dog has never been so excited to LEAVE upon pickup. The list could go on and on, but some of the major problems:
1. Our first day dropping off our dog at daycare, upon pickup, they brought out an unleashed dog while carrying a harness, stating they “could not figure it out”. This was because this was not our dog – not even the same size, breed, or name. The staff member physically dragged the poor other pup into the back and begins screaming throughout the rooms to other staff members to see if “anyone knows where this dog is”. About 5 minutes later, she returned, still without our dog, asking us to now describe what our dog looked like. 10 minutes pass until our dog is finally brought out, in which the staff member stated, “it seems she was locked in the wrong kennel”. Although taken aback completely by this experience, we understand that mistakes can happen and decided to try again with daycare here.
2. Our second pickup was not much better. We paid for their “Puppy Academy” service, in which our pup is supposed to receive basic training and a report card. Additionally, we paid for her to get a bath, and her nails trimmed. Upon pickup, there was no report card, and when asking the front desk staff about it, she replied “we must not have gotten around to it”. The staff member who brought out our dog stated she was unable to give her a nail trim due to "her color" (although this has NEVER been an issue at any other facility). It was also clear she never received a bath either. But, we were still charged for both services.
3. They advertise a Flickr account in which you can see pictures of your dog during their time there. Not once has our dog ever been seen on this account, which began concerning us that she spent all her time in a kennel and not with other pups.
4. Finally, as one of the only daycare spots in the area, my fiancé and I rearranged our work schedules to only board her 1x/week when our schedules overlapped. Still, we have had to visit the vet 3 times. Two were due to a diagnosed Upper Respiratory Tract infection and one was due to severe diarrhea/GI upset – each requiring antibiotics. We called to inform the facility of these contagious illnesses, as our vet was pretty confident in the fact that these were due to her daycare stays there (especially as it was our third visit, with only one common contributing factor). Our call was purely informative, as she had recently been around other pups, and we were hoping they had a protocol in place to prevent the spread and/or inform other pet parents to keep their pups safe and healthy. Instead, we were told by the staff member “dogs get sick, it happens. This call was unnecessary but okay thanks I guess” before hanging up. This was our final chance with Greenlin, as my fiancé and I were speechless that this was the response we received.
Proceed with caution before taking your pet here.

We love using Greenlin Camp Hill for all our boarding and doggy daycare needs! I know Lagatha is going to have a great time, be well cared for and they always keep me informed on how her stay is going. I also love getting pictures or videos every day and seeing her smiling face.

Jefferson appears to love Greenlin visits. During his week long stay I appreciated the daily pictures/updates and being able to view images on flicker. He was good when he returned home. Appears he was eating his meals and was happy. He was very tired for a day or two but that’s expected when he has been playing with other dogs and in a different environment for a week. Greenlin took great care of our sweet boy and we appreciate that!

It looked like my puppy had a good time while he stayed here, however when I picked him up his fur was covered in pee. He also had dried poop on his leg. Whenever I dropped him off I asked if they could add a nail trim, his nails were not even touched. When I originally reserved the boarding I added a park walk and since they couldn’t cut his nails I do not trust that they did that either. I ordered the puppy package and they never gave him a gourmet treat and when I asked how to see my dog’s daily photos I was told “it’s hit or miss if they actually take the photos”. If it is hit or miss they shouldn’t advertise it in the package. They also damaged the poop bag holder on his leash.

Update 2024: Layla always comes home happy from Greenlin! We are blessed she has a special place to be boarded.
This was Layla’s first time at a kennel. She’s a one year old English Labrador retriever. With Covid she was always with us. Everyone at Greenlin Camp Hill was so wonderful. She met lots of new friends during her long weekend there. The photos and updates were great. You can tell they all really enjoy the pets in their care. The staff was especially understanding of MY separation anxiety with leaving her for the first time! I’ve already scheduled her next stay.
