( 9/13/24) I left. I did not get my blood work.
Due to how unprofessional. They yelled out loud three times that I need a 15 panel blood test. Questioned me three times out loud if I can provide a urine sample until the line.. because she needed more time to get my 15 panels ready… I just want a blood work. I didn’t want the whole office/ patients to know how many tests I’m getting done…. Other staff members was chuckling as I’m leaving out, stating that I have an attitude. It felt like because she knew my chart. She tried to shame me in front of the office.

They need improvement when it comes to managing lines. Also, as an FYI, they’ll build to the hospital, which might mean that you pay more through your insurance.

Went for lab work . Were called in with another couple and a single guy. Had to line up. The girl instructed that she will point you where to sit. None smiled , noone said hello just a rude finger pointing you where to sit. I felt weird. So i was sitting there. Waiting a little too long. The finger pointer was my boss. I was just looking around she made it a rude point to say yeah ill be right there . I said wow to myself. I made her mad i asked her if she would where a mask. Watching she was sorting paper work. Probably 10 min came over put paperwork down, verify your name and birthdate. I did but i was so uncomfortable i wanted to leave. What arm she asked i said i dont know. I said your making me uncomfortable. Oh your uncomfortable do you want someone else? I said yes. Yells across the way to a girl can you come draw her she is uncomfortable with me. She walks back over told her coworkers now everyone is looking at me. And thank god the girl who drew my blood had a mask on because she was sick. I have never ever went threw this before. I will not step foot in this lab. And this is the reason i go to a upmc lab. But because of my surgery i had to go to a penn state lab! I wouldnt send my dog here.

Worst place to get your blood done. I’m 3 months pregnant and have now taken off work and gone to get my bloodwork done twice. First they don’t check the computer to see what blood they are supposed to be taking then tell you they don’t know what they are doing and ask you to come back. Next time I’ll go to Hershey. It’s a further drive but you only have to go once.

Same experience as others. Was 5 person in line for checkin. Christopher got me checked in. I sat in lobby while people that checked in after me got call to register lady in front in line of me said you should have been next. Yep wait agai. As people after me got registered and blood drawn. Jazmin that took my blood [did not say anything about wait] obvious did not want to be there. Very rude
Update: found out yesterday at my doctor's apt not all labs was done. I will be following up with management and my Dr is reporting as well.

Waited 2 hours to have blood drawn. Dr. Told me to walk in, no appointment needed. I sat and watched people who checked in after me, checking out. After one hour they said they'd look into it. Felt like they made me wait longer for asking. Think I'm going back to pinnacle health.

If I could give them a 0 I would. The lab techs and the front desk don’t receive the same information. I was denied a test because of the time even though I arrived on time and it was the lack of staff that prevented a quick check in. Additionally, they don’t follow HIPAA compliance as they loudly announced my full address and phone number that anyone could hear.

This place needs some serious work… the Blood Donor Center is so unorganized it’s ridiculous… we had to come here for 4 appointments for blood draws and the 1st appointment was no problem then suddenly the 2nd appointment we needed paperwork that we were never told about, they then told us they got the approval and did the blood draw only for us to come back for the 3rd appointment and be turned away because they still needed paperwork… we had to reschedule and come back again, we don’t live close we’re almost an hour away and again we were never told about the paperwork either times… actually we were told it was taken care of when it wasn’t!! The receptionist are rude and in their own little worlds instead of greeting patients… there are a few individuals (like the ones in registration who actually seemed friendly and wanted to help) but overall this place does not uphold what I would expect from a Penn State facility…

Love my doctor Dr Brubaker is Awesome very patient with me and explains things to me where I can understand best decision I've ever made from switching from UPMC to Hearshey was a very good move for me I recommend them to anyone
