We have depended on the Apothecary for several meds. Lead time is helpful when you are getting specialty med. The staff--can't say enough about the knowledge and helpfulness. The personal time Illana and Joe have spent to ensure we understand how to take the meds and what to avoid is invaluable. Thank you for the excellent care.

Our office often uses this local pharmacy for our patients as their prices are very reasonable and the staff is amazing (specifically Alana and Joe are great!). Unfortunately, now, there is a new pharmacist named Alex who is extremely rude and condescending, and has even caused one of our patients to complain to US about HIM. We hope this isn't the new normal for such a wonderful establishment!*EDIT* Thank you for your timely reply. We can be searched under Prescriptions for Enlightening Paths, the office of Dr. Janiece Andrews. Unfortunately Alex has received only a complaint from our patient, and when we attempted to rectify the situation we were greeted with the same rudeness. I am happy to discuss this further and have left you a voicemail.

This pharmacy has done for me what Rite Aid refused to do for me. Rite aid would not anticipate my need for a certain medication that was filled twice a month so that I had to travel out of town on a regular basis to find a Rite Aid that had what I needed. No one at Rite Aid would answer their phones to let me know if they had it so I had to search for it twice a month.Today I was given a month's worth .....which is also something Rite Aid said they couldn't do for me.The people that work here are very welcoming and kind and I am so relieved to have them taking care of my medications. My life is a challenge on a regular basis due to MS and migraines and I'm so grateful to finally have a pharmacy I can count on that doesn't stress me out.Thank you for the wonderful service you provide!Sincerely,Danyeal Onawontee

My family and I have been doing business here for years. Allana and Joe are awesome. Quick, efficient and friendly. Sheree, God rest her soul, always had a warm smile and pleasant attitude. A and J are on vacation and whoever is covering for them is terrible. Been waiting nearly an hour. I’m the only customer here. 20 minutes ago, they called me to the counter, but they didn’t fill half my scripts. Then they had to look to find the other prescription that I gave them 20 minutes before hand. Finally, after 51 minutes, I got my scripts. It would be one thing if they were busy or he had to call for authorizations, but neither of those were true. He is just slow as can be. Allana and Joe, call me when you guys get back and I’ll be happy to do business again, but no way, no how will I deal with your substitute again.

The best butt paste ever. They use bentonite clay in some magical concoction. It healed my baby in a day what zinc oxide couldn't do in a week.

I really wish that I could give a -5 star. I have never used Cumberland Apothecary before, and I promise I never will again, and neither will anyone I know. My cat has been suffering a severe upper respiratory infection that has been resistant to all treatments thus far that we have tried. My vet recommended on 10/5/22 that we try a compounded form of Doxycycline, that apparently could be obtained from the Apothecary. The vet called it in early Wednesday afternoon, and the apothecary told them it would be ready in the afternoon. Before the pharmacy closed I called, concerned that I had not heard if it was ready. They told me that they had not received the prescription; I come to find out after speaking to the vet, the apothecary had the name wrong. They told the vets office that the medication was ready to be picked up. I drove to the other side of town, to get an attitude from the girl working the counter that the medication was not ready, and that they would call when it was ready. While I was angry, I work in healthcare, I get it. The pharmacist behind the counter made me aware that it would be ready tomorrow 10/6/22. Comes the next day, I wait until early afternoon and call, because my cat needs his antibiotics. The same girl that had given me attitude the day before answered the phone, and gave me attitude yet again stating “we will call you when it is ready”. Fair enough… I waited until almost closing time and called again… attitude again. I stated “your pharmacist told me that it was going to be ready today… will it be ready before you close?” The response that I got was “no it won’t be ready today, we told you that we would call you when it was ready.” At this time I am extremely upset and dissatisfied with this business and the customer service. I called the vet and asked them if they could please send the prescription somewhere else, because quite honestly I have no interest giving this business my time or my money at this point. They assured me that the practice would call the apothecary, and get it straightened out so that the prescription would be ready today 10/7/22, in which the apothecary agreed (however they have been saying this the past 2 days, so I had little faith). Today 10/7/2022, I had to work a 12 hour shift from 7a-7p in a very busy emergency department and did not have time to call to speak with staff to receive an update, however according to them I would get a call when it was ready ; and planned to send someone to pick it up as soon as it was ready… never got a call. Here we are it is Friday night, the apothecary is closed until Monday, and my vet is closed until Monday. My poor cat who is suffering is not going to have his antibiotics until atleast Monday night at the earliest I am assuming. Now I am going to have to pay to take my cat to an emergency vet and hopefully have meds reordered. I would rather drive to California to get this medication before I use the business again. I am a firm believer in supporting small businesses, but I will forever use my chain pharmacies and chewy from now on, because atleast I know I will get my medications.

Charged me 50.00 for a durable item when it was actually cover by insurance had to do my own reimbursement from insurance company. This “Apothecary “ has always been difficult to deal with.and by the way it was the only “Apothecary “ in the area that had the item I needed. Insurance returned my 50$.

When a customer comes in looking for a product that is unfamiliar to him/her, but the staff is familiar with the product, I believe it is the staff's responsibility to share information/educate the customer. This would have required one simple sentence, but it did not happen. I went looking for a pair of TED stockings for my mother. Tan was in stock. White was not. My mother preferred white (the color, not knowing there was a difference in product construction). There was no mention made of the fact that the difference was more than just color; more importantly a difference in construction and function. White Teds were ordered. I picked them up. Turns out that the tan TEDs have a closed toe (which is what my mother needs) and the white TEDs have an open toe. Having not been told of the difference, I purchased the white ones; getting the color my mother preferred. Of course, when we realized the open toe, it was too late. I had purchased them and they can not be returned. In these days of no excess money, this was money wasted. I feel taken advantage of. We paid the price for lack of professional service on the part of the staff. There are other specialty pharmacy's. We will not be returning to this one.

Great locally owned pharmacy. They'll go the extra mile for you that the chain and grocery pharmacies won't...compounds, delivery options, and fast service.

I cannot say enough about this little diamond in the rough pharmacy. Everyone who works there is just wonderful. I walk in and they know you are by name. You hardly ever have a wait time, maybe 5 minutes or so. I would highly recommend
